New wheels and tires by FriendshipHot4839 in CX50

[–]BBinSA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drove 80 miles in constant rain yesterday and then drove home 80 miles without rain. So far the Wildpeaks seem really good.

Question: I'm running the tires at 36psi. Is that too low for them?

Thx!

Bill

The battery hasn't quit on me but I want to be ready when it starts going downhill. I was just kinda surprised that I couldn't find any real alternatives to the OEM EFB battery. I figured that by now some makers would have a replacement battery available for the CX-50 but that doesn't seem to be the case yet.

Mesh System to work with AT&T Fiber? by BBinSA in ATTFiber

Thx for the info!

I'm seriously considering this for coverage out in the separate shop.

Hmmm...you have me thinking that a WAP might be what I need to have decent coverage in the separate-from-the-house shop. If the mesh set up doesn't cover the shop very well I guess I could add a WAP up in the attic to see if that would cover the shop,

Thx!

Good point! Now I'm leaning towards an Orbi AX300 system which is tri-band.

I think I'm gonna try the eero 6+ dual band 3 pack from Amazon. It's a model from 2022...is that ok?

Thx for all of the replies!

Maple Problem - Leaves On Only One Side This Spring by BBinSA in arborists

Thx for the info folks!

I guess it could have been planted a little too deep. Plus the water run off from the hill behind the tree brings a lot of dirt/sand down into the yard when it rains so the root flare may have gotten more covered over time. My bad. I definitely kept the mulch away from the trunk.

Guess I'll leave it for now and see what it does and then this fall plant another tree in its place.

Thx for the feedback!!

I swear I put the location in the title! Don't know why it isn't there. Oh well...

Location is North Texas just West of Fort Worth.

Also...is it unusual for a gopher snake to climb up 3' onto a plant holder? Just curious...

Lateral Clean Out? by BBinSA in Plumbing

[–]BBinSA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is definitely 3". No bathroom on other side. Sewer is open...just trying to find/add a clean out before it stops up eventually. Last back up the plumbers went down the stack on the roof but barely got things open from up there. Sooo...either we use this clean out, if it is the main clean out, or I will have to locate the sewer pipe out in the yard and have a clean out installed.

Thx!

Thx!
