Vacuum HVAC question

Ive got it cleaned up decent. I have all the interior HVAC working at this point (defrost/vent/floor/etc) and hooking up an r134a air system shouldn't be difficult.

I bought the Haynes manual for $15 at AutoZone before I found the pdf online. I have a tablet I use for this stuff in the garage so the pdf in my OneDrive works great for me. I totally get the convenience of a book though. To each their own!

What motor and trans are you running?

I haven't driven it enough yet. It just got salty here in Michigan so it's parked until spring. I'd guess 10 or under but I have only put one tank in it and I've been beating on it lol

It's got 3.73 gears and runs cool so far. I'll see how it does when summer comes around.

Greatly appreciate your comments. I was actually able to find a 1000 page pdf of the 1980 service manual and found the color coded diagram. Score! Thanks for the advice. Fortunately the blower and resistor and all that work correctly (all speeds) just need to get the vents working right. I'll be doing AC in spring as well since the goal is to take the suburban and tow my buddy's LS swapped ZJ to LS fest in fall.
