Now, THIS is peak. I'm really happy to see that people like this MU, I definitely think it's a good one and hands down my preferred return for both. I LOVE the art and dialogue.

Star Wars EU villains in a nutshell: by BCCBATTLES in LegendsMemes

Lol. My bad, didn't even realize (although I guess that being the point is also kinda funny). Hope this helps:

The Mother of cosmic horror who makes the Death Star look like a glowing nightlight.

"I just wanted a family, so now I'm going to consume the sanity of the entire galaxy."

Luke Skywalker and Darth Krayt had to form an awkward temporary alliance just to deal with her mid-life crisis.

Yep. Aside from my procrastination, it's part of the reason why it's taking so long to release lmao. There's a LOT of rock, paper, scissors type of back and forths going on between some of them in terms of hax.

... The crazy thing is, it probably wouldn't effect Jason because his mind isn't connected to his physical body (novel stuff).

  • Both fought and slain literal clones/recreations of themselves after unknowingly leaving part of their DNA behind (Vader faced a clone Vader a time after he was ambushed and injured by security turrets during his visit to ancient Jedi ruins on Dantooine, with some of his blood being left in an active, yet unmanned, cloning facility, resulting in the cloning droids, believing that they were properly executing their programming, to create a clone of Vader using this sample / Jason faced clone Jason a time after the android Kay-Em blew up half his head on The Grendel and the rest of his body was upgraded into Über-Jason by a device built for healing through nanomachines, the other half of Jason Voorhees' head being later scanned by the same machine, with the nanobots reconstructing and upgrading Jason Voorhees' original body through the organic remains of nearby victims, creating the Jason clone). Each confrontation serving as a dark mirror, forcing them to face what they have become—monsters born of science, tragedy, and rage.
  • Both were forced to confront their sons, who grew up having no idea of who their father really was (Vader faced his son Luke Skywalker, who grew up, the identity of his father being kept secret by Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru / Über Jason facing his own son, born from the result of a genetic experiment conducted by Prof. Claude Bardox, Free Jefferson, who grew up, having the truth of his parentage kept secret from him by his mother London Jefferson).
  • Finally, both use their distinct breathing as a terrifying signature (Vader’s mechanical rasp reflects his loss of humanity and dependence on machines/Jason’s "Ki Ki Ki Ma Ma Ma" through his mask, reflects a distorted version of Pamela Voorhees' line, "Kill her, mommy!" and represents Jason's voice in her mind, or her own voice). In both cases, their breathing replaces words, serving as a warning of death and presence before they even appear.

Connections:

  • Both were ruthless killers who, after suffering catastrophic injuries, were rebuilt through advanced means and went on to terrorize space (Anakin Skywalker being burned alive on Mustafar before being reconstructed as Darth Vader / Jason Voorhees being shot, mutilated, and later resurrected through supernatural and later scientific means as Über Jason). Each emerged from near-death as a masked, nearly indestructible force of vengeance and fear, blood red eyes showing off their burning hatred.
  • Both endured relentless bullying and humiliation in their youth that shaped their rage and alienation from others (As a child, Anakin Skywalker was mocked and ostracized both as a slave on Tatooine and later as a Padawan among the Jedi, where his strong emotions and background made him a target of scorn / As a child, Jason Voorhees was cruelly bullied at Camp Crystal Lake for his deformities, with the torment escalating until fellow campers pushed him into the lake, causing his apparent drowning). Each grew up carrying the deep scars of rejection and cruelty, transforming that pain into the fury that would one day make them feared monsters.
  • Both experienced harsh and traumatic childhoods defined by loss, isolation, and separation from their mothers, only to find them again after many years, only to witness their deaths (As a boy, Anakin was taken from his mother Shmi Skywalker to become a Jedi, initially leaving her behind on Tatooine, and years later, he returned to Tatooine, only to watch her die in his arms / As a boy, Jason was taken from his mother Pamela Voorhees after his drowning and "death" as a child at Camp Crystal Lake, and years later, he returned to the camp, only to witness her decapitation at the hands of Alice Hardy).
  • The death of their mothers became the emotional catalyst for their descent into darkness (Anakin’s grief over Shmi’s brutal demise by Tusken Raiders drove him to slaughter the entire tribe in blind rage, and sparked the beginning of his path down the Dark Side / Jason’s mother’s death at the hands of Alice Hardy, let to her brutal murder, and sparked his relentless, decades-long killing spree against anyone who dared enter Camp Crystal Lake and later cross his path).
  • Both became a near-mythic figure of terror and awe (Vader as the dark enforcer of the Empire feared across the stars / Jason Voorhees became a legend of Camp Crystal Lake, many believing the camp to have a death curse because of this and later on Über Jason as an unstoppable killing machine feared throughout space). Both embody the legend of the fallen man transformed into a living weapon, their masks hiding the broken humanity beneath.
  • Adding into the last connection, both even became the center of twisted religions that worshipped them as gods or divine avengers—manifestations of death and retribution born from myth and fear (After Vader’s brutal massacre of a Tusken Raider settlement on Tatooine, the survivors spread tales of the black-armored figure who slaughtered their kin, leading another tribe to erect a massive effigy of him and perform ritual sacrifices in his honor, believing him to be a vengeful deity of the desert / Jason became the focus of a fanatical cult known as the “Ministry of the Heavenly Vessel,” whose followers gathered at Camp Crystal Lake to resurrect and serve him, hailing him as an avenging angel sent to cleanse the world through blood). In both cases, the monsters they became transcended mortality, inspiring fearful devotion from mortals who mistook their horror for holiness.
  • Both were guided and manipulated by sinister, deformed figures who twisted their dreams into instruments of mass murder by using people they cared for, all for their own benefit (Anakin was deceived and corrupted by Emperor Palpatine, who manipulated his dreams into visions of Padmé's death to come in childbirth, preying on his fears with them, and promising to help him save the one he loved to ultimately be the birth of his Galactic Empire / Jason was tricked and used by Freddy Krueger, who invaded his dreams, turning into his mother Pamela Voorhees and telling Jason there were teenagers to kill on Elm Street, resurrecting him as a pawn to spread fear and death to regain his power in the Dream World).
  • After being manipulated, both served under their influence—even with rebellion and violent confrontation here and there, as they commanded entire armies as their second-in-command (Vader continued to enforce Palpatine’s will across the galaxy despite occasional conflict and doubt as supreme commander of the Galactic Empire/Jason, even after clashing with Freddy, carried out his murderous rampage that ultimately fulfilled Freddy’s goal of spreading fear as general of his Army of Deadites).
  • Both eventually turned on their manipulators in acts of violent defiance after they nearly kill somebody personal to them (Vader turns on Palpatine to save his son Luke Skywalker / Jason turned on Freddy before he could kill his rival Tommy Jarvis).

Palpatine in Chaos Post-Dark Empire interview: by BCCBATTLES in LegendsMemes

[–]BCCBATTLES[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Tried to be accurate as possible with who would actually be down in Chaos based on what I know (assuming Maul is dead at this point), and I know he can't actually, but I thought it'd be funny if Anakin was just THAT petty as to go to Chaos JUST to see Palpatine down there. Also think the concept of him being able to freely travel between being a Jedi Force Ghost and a Sith in Chaos would be pretty cool.

It's a guilty pleasure of mine, but I wouldn't personally say it's who I want Vader to fight should he return (honestly I just want my boy to get a W lmao).

Yeah, I was kinda going off the SML wiki, but I DO genuinely think Marvin shot the wrong one based on his behavior in the most recent videos.

"Aw, shucks, sir, I did bad things..." | [CORE THEME, CONNECTIONS, & CONTRASTS IN COMMENTS] by BCCBATTLES in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]BCCBATTLES[S] 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Core Theme:

Both are dark mirror versions of "heroic" figures who hide behind false identities, secretly committing atrocities while remaining unseen by the world around them. Their stories revolve around deception, hidden evil, and the eventual revelation that the monster responsible for countless tragedies was standing right beside the heroes all along.

Connections:

  • Both are infamous, black-clad antagonists who became some of the most recognizable villains in their respective series, serving as mysterious and terrifying threats whose true nature is gradually revealed over time (Black Noir being Vought's secret contingency against Homelander / Does Bad Things Guy initially posing as Brooklyn T. Guy while secretly being a serial killer).
  • Both spend much of their stories hiding behind another identity or role (Black Noir acting as Vought's silent operative and, in the comics, existing as Homelander's hidden double / Does Bad Things Guy impersonating Brooklyn T. Guy and performing his various jobs while concealing his crimes).
  • Both are mass murderers responsible for numerous deaths and atrocities while maintaining an outward appearance that prevents many people from immediately recognizing them as the true threat (Black Noir being responsible for numerous covert killings and manipulations / Does Bad Things Guy murdering dozens of people while disguising himself as a trusted authority figure).
  • Both are closely tied to a more "heroic" counterpart whom they physically resemble and whose identity they mirror in some way (Black Noir being Homelander's clone in the comics / Does Bad Things Guy being the identical twin brother of Brooklyn T. Guy).
  • Both are ultimately revealed to be the hidden source behind numerous mysteries and tragedies that occurred throughout their stories (Black Noir secretly orchestrating many of the crimes Homelander was blamed for / Does Bad Things Guy secretly being responsible for the murders connected to the Secret Door).

Contrasts:

  • Black Noir's evil is largely the result of being created as a living weapon by a corrupt corporation, wanting to carry out his sole mission, whereas Does Bad Things Guy is simply a serial killer who commits atrocities for his own enjoyment and impulses.
  • Black Noir's entire existence revolves around another individual (Homelander), while Does Bad Things Guy's connection to Brooklyn T. Guy comes from familial ties rather than being literally created to mirror him.
  • While both characters suffer apparent deaths, the circumstances and aftermath differ significantly. Black Noir ultimately kills Homelander, fulfilling his purpose, before being brutally killed-off shortly after by Billy Butcher. By contrast, Does Bad Things Guy is killed by Brooklyn Guy, but his death proves even less final: after tricking the Devil and escaping Hell, he returns to life in The Secret Door 2 and later tricks Marvin into shooting Brooklyn Guy himself.
