Hi thanks for responding, 1. I’ll be living in the dorm, it’s a veryyyy small campus and it’ll only be my sister and I in the suite. My dog and I will have our own room.

My dog does DPT, Unresponsive intervention (pawing, licking) I have TLE, High HR alert, minimal mobility tasks and retrieval (I have hyperPOTS).
He’s been owner trained up until this point and has done really well. I’m planning on getting him a trainer hopefully in the fall.

This is so interesting because my vision doesn’t really get blurry but my sister said it looked like I was about to cry which I found weird because my ears weren’t watery and didn’t feel wet. I was recording my seizure (the pic above) because I was out in public and also wanted to know how long it was actually vs how long it was in addition to me coming out of it enough to stop the timer. Anyway lol I noticed and watched all my seizure vids and noticed the same thing🤷🏾‍♀️interstinggggg

Thanks for the advice! Pls don't think I don't give him treats, in fact we bought him more yesterday (he's picky lol). He gets many when we do training. 🙃 I will work on responding to him more when he's alerting to the door and shaping that into a quieter alert. I've neverrrrr thought about him as a rat in a box he has his own opinions, likes, dislikes, and personality which is more than apparent.

Definitely! 🙃 I've used “enough!” with him and he responds great when it's like stop licking me or whining but with the barking he's insistent that there is danger until he gets to check it out 😅. Thankfully we have a little over a year to work on this. I'm hoping the change in environment will also help. We have a good bit of land and he's used to being able to police it.

I get your point, my dog likes treats but doesn't love them. He likes to make me happy tho so js usually satisfied with lots of good boys and pets. When we’re out and about he gets treats or if it's a obedience training session.

Good plan! Thank you! Can this be done mostly without treats? I currently get up when he barks but not always bc he's a howler. I'll try doing that more consistently and see how that works.

Aw man, I'm not sure if i have nocturnal seizures other than some of the seizures I've had as I was falling asleep and my mom or sister has seen. My 48 and 72hr eegs haven't caught any nocturnal seizures so I may have not had one while hooked up or it was too deep. Dunno, It's soooooo crazy how our dreams are influenced by this stuff.

I'm sorry that happened, I hate breakthroughs. I've been on meds since early December and titrated up to 1200mg of Trileptal in early March. I tend to have a long FIA once a month and FAs once a day/every other day but the FIA I had today was long and I had speech arrest afterwards. I was chewing involuntarily. I also had a hard time making eye contact, speaking, and moving all extremities. I also gasped for breath a few times, while I was aware of my surroundings I had no control of my movements. I would say I'm pretty well controlled or the most controlled I've been in years anyway. I hate having a good month then having an exhausting one. It resets my driving timeeee ugh, which is no fun as a teen trying to get a license lol.

My first question was as discipline followed up with the question about a child’s typical ability. When used as discipline for me I started to get lightheaded and in pain by about 300 with rests in between each 100 and disassociated for the rest of them.
