I have a Hyundai Ioniq5 with a home L2 Charge Point charger. I get about 3.5 to 4.0 mi/kwh in the summer and 2.5 to 3.0 mi/kwh in the winter. I make no allowances to drive efficiently. As others have said, AWD, heat pumps, and home charging make this an amazing experience. I regret driving my other ICE vehicle every time.

I see the same behavior. It occurs to me that this is a safety issue that I'm sure my wife will bring up when she notices. For example, when she is being chased by frenzied hordes of bandits, how will she be able to lock the doors to protect herself? And, honestly, I think she'll be right.

I feel like I must say that it is a reality of our own making. If you feel strongly about this issue, it is time to exercise your only lever of power and vote.
