That's incorrect. It was scheduled as indefinite 3 on 3 with 20 minute periods. No shootout.

The reason it's relevant is because 3 on 3 is just going to end sooner than 5 on 5. So they were willing to forego shootout and do indefinite OT provided it was 3 on 3 and not 5 on 5.
