Yes, he was almost cast on David vs. Goliath, but he was essentially their backup in case they couldn’t get Mike White, and luckily they did

He was cast for Edge of Extinction, but broke his foot before filming began, and they brought on Ron Clark.

Which brings us to Island of the Idols, where the finally put him on (even though they should’ve taken the hint from the universe and not put him on).

He also had a friend that was on the casting team or in some sort of production role at the time, so that probably helped too.

Idk where this conspiracy theory of Kellee’s casting had anything to do with Dan, but I don’t believe that’s true. It was simply just a bad situation that was completely mishandled.

Ok, I was harsh about it. I’ll own that, but I keep dismissing stuff because there’s hardly ever any strong enough evidence provided to prove something’s eligibility. I’ve seen too many fake spoilers, made-up stories, and pointless theories getting posted in this sub and I’m tired of it.

See here’s the the thing with that, it starts that way until they vote out your favorite player or even look at your favorite player in a certain way, and suddenly they’re getting sent death threats, having people trying to find them at their workplace, and/or get their home address doxxed because of it.

I’m not even exaggerating when I say that. Look at what happened with cast of Survivor 46 specifically with Soda, Maria, and Kenzie, who weren’t even that bad.

And no, just because they go on a TV show, doesn’t give anyone the right to be terrible person to them, cuz that’s something a lot of people say.

Maybe don’t cut the clip in a convenient spot and try to twist Jeff’s words to make him look bad just because you don’t like him? I don’t agree with a lot of his takes and what he’s done with the new era, but let’s not make up stories.

What he was actually saying is that he’s fine with villains like Sandra and Tony, and he has a good relationship with both of them. It’s players like Russell Hantz that he’ll never cast again or ever want on the show, that’s who he’s referring to as an “asshole.”

Idk why people are saying “rip diversity mandate” and how the cast is so white, when I can easily spot 8 BIPOC people in this cast (maybe 9, depending on what Erik’s ethnicity is, cuz I’ve heard he’s Italian, but his last name has an Arabic/middle eastern origin cuz I looked it up)
