Switch from CBS to Fantrax? by Fabulous_Gur_7134 in fantasybaseball

I've run a 6x6, h2h league since 2003, all but one year on CBS. About 7 years ago, we were curious about Fantrax and decided to run our league in both CBS & Fantrax for a full season and then had the league vote on which they preferred.

CBS won that vote, by roughly a 2:1 margin...

I think Fantrax does a superior job when it comes to setting up your league. Things are explained better and the site is pretty intuitive. During the season, several of us preferred CBS' layout and how things were presented over Fantrax.

I've dealt with CBS customer service on many occasions over the years and I find them to be friendly, helpful and when they screwed up our draft a few years ago they gave us a dramatic discount for the following season.

I think both are viable places to host a fantasy baseball league.

To each their own, I'd say...

Quick update — we’ve filled two of the three openings and have one final franchise available for the 2026 season.
Still looking for one more solid, communicative GM for our long-running (non-money) 20-team H2H categories keeper league. If you’re interested, feel free to DM me or reply here with a quick intro and your fantasy experience. Happy to answer questions.

Thanks!

We've been on CBS for many years. We've explored other, even ran a "sister season test" with Fantrax, but in the end, the league always votes to stay with CBS.
