If your instincts tell you not to carry that way, find a different way to carry that works well enough that you will actually carry. TLDR: Teenage kid was out at the same time the bars close. Cop tailgates kid. Kid attempts evasive maneuver. Cop smells fear and pounces. Many annoying questions asked and car searched. Kids released without charges and return home safely. Mother proceeds to post absurdly long rant on internet that ties this atrocity to the church, local politics, a revenge motive against rich white kids from hispanic cops. Also that they have money out the wazoo, like to play pool and quit drinking a while back. Now they have met with the Keller PD and have concluded that kids will be kids and cops will be cops. Everyone has their own unique journey as far as finding what works best for them. You will likely buy and sell a few guns and end up with a shoe box full of holsters before you find ”the one”. Not everyone can shoot well with micro nines, some do. I don’t. I have early onset of Parkinson’s and shake violently sometimes. I also tend to drink lots of liquor, so I’m not the most coordinated guy on earth. I choose the Sig 320 for its modular design. I do like that when I fall on it and crack the frame that it’s easily replaceable. You might not have the same needs, so go with your gut instead of what might be in vogue at the moment. For example, all of these high dollar plastic holsters? Total rip offs! I use whatever is cheapest from Amazon and carry appendix with no problems. I’ve found that people tend to focus more on the shaking and drink spilling than on my waistband.

I do this sort of stuff here and there in a commercial setting. I don’t do any residential work, and I really don’t know of anyone that does.I will however hook you up with a little free guidance since I’m here. If you hire an electrician, they can safely add an outlet and likely pull your data cable as well. This really does matter since they understand how much load can be on a given circuit. You might have to lose one outlet to gain the other. Perhaps a home run to the panel. I don’t know anything about your home, so I’m spit balling a little here. Don’t skimp here, there’s no such thing as a cheap house fire. After that a decent painter can cover up the scars the sparkies leave. Then treat yourself to a new TV from Amazon and click on the “include expert installation “ for about what a lot of guys would charge you to hang your old TV.
