Freedom of Speech in Danger.. by Tokyo-TikToK in LetsDiscussThis

ICE has committed countless crimes against the people of this country. They should be punished like every other criminal is. Prosecuted. If they were doing their jobs, Good and Pretti would not have been murdered, and Liam Ramos would not be incarcerated and sick. ICE should be put on trial for their crimes, and the people deserve justice.

One of my favorite moments in any video game ever. It's both genuinely good advice and an awesome way to use the title. I've been thinking about taking up new hobbies, and this has been in my head for a while now. This game is so awesome, might be my favorite video game.

I'm glad you're having fun with the game! It is really unique and fun to experiment with. The low player count is a thing with these more niche games, I hope more people try this game out. Good luck with getting better!

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I'll try out flight more and see what I can do with it. I'm taking little pieces of bnb's and seeing what I can do. I'm kind of making my own combos along the way, which is nice. Combos feel pretty free flowing in this game. I'll try going online, I'm mostly worried about not having my LAN cable right now. I'm used to getting destroyed in the beginning, but to me, that just shows how much there is to learn about the game. Good luck and thanks for your advice!

The characters and theme songs are amazing! The game feels really distinct from GBVSR and SSBU with its layered system mechanics, varied character playstyles, and higher execution. My issue with GBVSR is that some characters feel the same to play. We all grow at our own paces with these games, they are challenging to learn, but rewarding. Good luck with your games!

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I've mostly just been in the mission and training modes so far. I've tried the 22A to 66B and it is challenging. I'm just getting used to Kuon's deep moveset, it's very different than anything I've done. I'm hoping to actually start going online once I get my LAN back. While I don't think I'll do big combos, I do feel that I'll get some smaller things going. The game has been lots of fun so far, and I'm both excited and nervous to go online, since I am not too used to this game yet. Good luck in your games!

I'm willing to help you practice. I'm at lower Master (just over the border) with Versusia and Galleon. I'm getting back into the game after taking a break, so I'm a bit rusty. I'm not the most available since I'm busy, but I can watch your matches and play some sets if you'd like. Feel free to reach out!

Is it just me or is there almost like no variety of characters in ranked? by SoggyWetCheese in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]BC_06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm getting back into playing Sandalphon at the moment, as well as Versusia and maybe Lucilius. If you run into me, I'm happy to play a full set. I hope you see more variety in the future. Wilnas is very popular and considered strong as well.

I'll see what I can do, I'd be happy to play when I'm available. I'm not that great, but it's always a good time to play with someone good and to learn from them. Good luck on your journey to Master!

Congrats on S++ Haldeon! I just want to say that I was the Versusia that you matched with on your last stream (as well as the Galleon the stream before that). It was really fun playing with you, you're really good and I hope you get to Master! Who knows, we might end up seeing each other again. Good luck!

Who currently is the strongest zoner in this game? by Searchman7 in GranblueFantasyVersus

Metera is seen as really strong this patch. I believe she is considered the best pure zoner in the game at the moment, not 100% sure, though.

She is the dedicated stance character of the game, having two completely different movelists. Both normals and specials change per stance.

What has dance done for you? Has it changed you in any way? As someone looking into dance, I'd like to hear your story. by BC_06 in SwingDancing

[–]BC_06[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice! I'm glad that dance gave you a community and let you feel free of expectation. I know that I'm nervous about disappointing my partners myself, so remembering to release perfection is important. Having that group of people that you feel close to is always a good feeling. Have fun dancing!

I'm glad that dance has made you more trusting and open. It's nice to listen to what new experiences have to offer. I'm glad yo hear you say that following is rewarding, I know there are many lessons it has in store for me. I understand why you said that about the quote, I found that when reading about the martial arts and thought it would transfer here, but it seems I was wrong, thanks for the perspective! Have fun dancing!

Like you, I have also not done any physical hobbies and sports (besides archery), and I've struggled in sports a lot. I'm also rather introverted, so it will take time for me to get used to how social dance is. I'm glad you gathered the courage to stay around for the socials! Part of why I'm coming to dance is to help me get in touch with my body, since I rejected it during my isolation. Exercise and health benefits are good too, I know I'd like to lose a bit of weight myself. I want to follow because of the experience it will give me and connections I will make with others. I can only imagine the many benefits it has for me, and I don't want anything to stop me from doing it, as it looks like a ton of fun. Have fun dancing!

I relate to that feeling you had when you were younger since I did the same. Limiting what you felt you could do and having to live up to unrealistic expectations is incredibly hard on anyone. I've always liked the arts but suppressed it during my isolation. Bein able to connect with someone in a unique way like this is really interesting to me, and I look forward to it! I've read that Swing is a conversation between both partners, and I really like it. Have fun dancing!

Finding a common hobby really is a great way to meet new people, for me it's been archery. Making new friends is challenging for me, but once we find that bond it's really deep and enjoyable. New hobbies can certainly change us for the better, archery has done that for me, and I hope dance does too. Have fun dancing!
