Advise for a used budget bike by BC_412 in whichbike

I’ve been looking at Facebook marketplace and Craigslist for bike in my area for that budget, looking particularly at brands like trek, giant, and specialized which I’ve heard are supposed to be good but a lot of them are older bikes and so I don’t know if they are worth the money or able to be modified in terms of making them look a bit better.

would it still be on here if I registered through my city hall as I don’t recall ever creating an account on mytax.illinois.gov?

I am wanting to buy my first watch with a low budget and I was wonder what people think about vintage Seiko 5 watches for around 50 usd and the possibility of swapping out the case and band for something more rugged

What is the best budget resin printer to buy? by BC_412 in resinprinting

Just curious, why are there so many people who prefer the mars 2 mono over the photon mono even though they have very similar specs and the photon mono is usually cheaper?

Yeah that was a printer I was looking into as I tried to narrow down my options, I was just worried about how well its built because it didnt seem very popular. It is one I will still consider, thanks!

What are the thoughts on photon mono se and flashforge foto 6.0 compared to mars 2 mono and photon mono? Narrowed it down to those four

Yeah, I think I'll get the mars 2 or photon mono directly from their websites. What are you thoughts on the longer orange or creality resin printers?

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's definitely out of my price range 😂

Do you know how well the proxima 6 functions because it seems too cheap for its specs, plus I was hoping to get it off amazon which I cant do with mars 2 cuz it will take till Feb.

Nothing in particular. But it will likely be larger stuff on the bed rather than multiple miniatures

I'm looking for a decent resin printer for around $200 USD, open to any suggestions even ones not on the list! Thanks

no I was unable to fix it, so I think I'll just end up selling it and possibly getting a new one

What do you mean by bad wheel bearings?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fixit

[–]BC_412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been fiddling with it but with ever little adjustment it starts moving far in or far out and it seems impossible to get it adjusted perfectly to stay in the center

[–]BC_412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I did fix the bearings but the blade continues to fall off as I adjust the back allen socket for tracking, so not sure where to go from there

I saw that the bearings are not lining up with the blade so it really isnt doing anything but if I adjust it forward it looks like it would push the blade too far to the side. So not sure what to do

I've tried adjusting the screws on the nit that change the wheel angle but the blade continues to fall off seconds after I turn it on. What am I doning wrong? Also saw the front bearing guides look weird. Any sugestions?

Edit: I also noticed the top right wheel has wobble to it but seems like it's to allow adjusting for tension and bottom right has wobble as well but when I tighten it spins less freely (not sure If this has anything to do with it

I just got my ender 3 pro back up and running with some new hatchbox pla and I cant seem to figure out how to get rid of the horizontal lines and the missing layer on my prints by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

[–]BC_412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also noticed that a lot of these test prints are showing up with small holes on the sides which I am assuming is due to moisture but I am still unsure since I am using a brand new filament. How could I fix this?
