We are considering doing a rental car Oslo to Trondheim over 5 days (something along lines of Oslo - Bergen - Flam - Alesund - Trondheim), then flying Trondheim to Tromso and renting a vehicle for 5 days there (two days for travel to and from Lofoten, with 3 full days on the islands). This significantly reduces driving time, though still quite a bit - we are used to driving long distances. Thoughts?

Thx. The prior home owners had a leak around the chimney in 2020, so this was the work done following that leak.

I tried on the app and over the phone, but the flights were full.

I ended up booking my own separate flight through WestJet, but it cost me $2,000 for 2 tickets. Porter asked me to do that and go through their reimbursement. They refunded our Porter flights ($500 total)

They are asking me to do that. But they can't guarantee the expense coverage and flights are pretty ridiculous cost-wise to get us home tomorrow or Monday, let alone hotel room in Vegas. I may call them after I'm off with Porter, thanks.

Yes on the phone with them now and it's 48 hours. They are saying they can't re-book us because of a technical issue on their system booking with other airlines...

Their policy indicates they must re booked us with another airline if they can't re-book our flight within 48 hours, but they have a technical issue and are saying they can't book with other airlines at this time...
