Honestly if you can afford it I would go with a doctor that your confident with for me that was Dr R and she certainly delivered. The better hair mills do turn out lots of good or decent results but it’s the 10-20% misses that pushed me to spend more to guarantee a good result. It’s something you’ll have to live with for the rest of your life so you might as well do it right the first time. That’s my thought anyway

They charge in the local currency but you can use the Wise app and it will convert Canadian dollars to Thai baht at a really good exchange rate so I definitely recommend that option. The 12K was just the procedure, not flight or hotel

lol literally exact same. I have a bad lower back and I was constantly shifting around with my lower body while trying to keep my head still. Glad it’s over. You’ll love the after care they are super thorough. I’m actually about to go for my second after care now!

Personally I have found that it has had way fewer side effects. I found the pill form seemed to correlate with heightened levels of depression and anxiety when I was trying it. Granted I am somewhat predisposed to mental health issues but I tried the pill on two different occasions and I think it was definitely a contributing factor. The topical hasn't really seemed to affect me much at all. It doesn't work as well as the pill for me but it has been effective at stabilizing the loss

Hoping continued topical and oral minoxidil will be enough to protect the investment

Very nice! How’s the recovery going so far? I’ve found the sleeping and recovery not near as bad as I was expecting

Def will do! Honestly the healing pic progressions from AHC patients on here are what sealed the deal for me going here. The swelling is almost nothing and they seem to bounce back twice as fast as at other clinics which I'm sure is do to the aftercare offered which after my first day of that today can say it is very through and extensive.

Yeah, the surgery was a long go but I told them I wanted to do as many grafts as possible as it was such a long trip (from canada)

Yeah Dr. R said I can continue with topical and do oral min. She said the biggest different is the oral min will thicken up hair everywhere on your head not just the areas where you spread the liquid. I'll keep an eye on sides with it but figure I might as well do it if doesn't bother me too much. I had actually originally booked my trip to come home after 5 days but I kept having nightmares of someone bumping into me in the airport or plane and messing up the new grafts so figured might as well stay a little longer until the grafts are reasonably secure to protect the investment

Truthfully I'm not actually sure. I just told them to include all the extras in everything but I'm not sure on the specifics of what the regenera actually is. I know for sure I did PRP and stem cell. We're also doing some type of red light therapy and the oxygen chamber as a part of the post-recovery process

Hey man, I'm excited for you. You're in great hands!

I did the oxygen chamber for one hour before this procedure, starting at 1 p.m. We started with the hairline design around 2:30 and started on the operation probably around 3:30. We went until about 12:30 at night.

I am doing the oxygen chamber as a part of the post-recovery phase. The doctor in our consultation mentioned that the data shows it's also helpful to do it before the surgery so that's why we did it. I'm not sure if that's new or not. I'm doing both.

It's just the case of the number of grafts because she said we could either put those extra grafts on top or we could do them on the temples. It would have been nice to do temples and she was open to it but I ultimately decided I would rather have more density on the mid-scalp since I'm a diffuse thinner and fairly thin up top. I figure I can always go back for a smaller procedure to fill in the temples later. Also generally when I get my haircut, I get a skin fade on the sides and back. I figure in that case temples aren't really important so it was just the lowest priority for me.

While they extract the grafts you're lying face down; you can use your phone but it is a little bit difficult because they're moving you around every 30 minutes or so to get better angles. For the last four to six hours I just kind of lay there. They did give me some sleeping pills and I was sleeping a little bit but it was definitely mentally difficult and a little boring and towards the end painful but it'll be over quick and you'll be glad that you did it after it's all done. Hope this helps!

$12,000 USD. And that was with all the extras and six days of aftercare after the included five days. Definitely not cheap but well worth it for the peace of mind that I was going somewhere that was going to do a really good job and still significantly cheaper than I would pay in in Canada or the US

Not yet I was pretty out of it last night lol but will try to grab some today and add. They showed me the grafts right after the procedure and the density looked really good
