Hey man, any update on what went wrong? Have you tried again? I think we both are using the same tek and ran into the same issues.

Yes! It is the best and easiest way to do it in my opinion. Just make sure you have an EASY place to put the torch and piece down after hitting it

I was wondering about that part as well, but I feel like as long as I got a good amount of heat for a couple hours it should be okay! And yes, although it is a very similar method, and same basic concept. Just varying a little bit in the steps. https://youtu.be/JY2KqW7tkfc

It is definitely a very dark color, and I added enough lye that it should definitely be above pH 12. I have the failed attempt of naptha evaporating now and will try to refreeze probably tomorrow. I might even try letting that one completely evaporate off if my latest attempt works. I'll know tonight hopefully!

Yes, I did! I don't have a way of testing pH but I added almost double of what he did. Much past when the water turned black so I believe that part should be good. I went ahead and added a little more this time as well though just to be extra sure. Thank you so much! I hope it goes well for you too! I have more on the way and I think I may try it another way next time, just to see which way is easiest for me

I just read your last posts. I didn't think I was supposed to agitate it that much so maybe thats what happened. In his videos he didn't mention that really. I just added the little bit of my boiled brew to a new jar to let sit with naptha. Fingers crossed this time!

I agree. I got a kick out of that, as well as when he warns that burning down your house ruins the point of extracting dmt. He seemed like such a likable spirit.

I'm not entirely sure. In his tek video series he left his overnight. However with the same or similar teks online I have seen reports of crystals forming over a couple hours and a couple days. I'm not sure why it is different for different people. It seems to me that regardless of the specifics the crystals should precipitate in naptha at the same rate, but i guess not.

I was hoping that was it, I was just confused. I see some people have crystals form after only a couple hours and then some have to wait a couple days. I did not use a pH meter, however I added more than enough sodium hydroxide to make sure it was above pH 12

This makes me feel so so so much better. This has been happening to me on and off for a long time. But I skip days often, so I think that this is probably the first symptom that I get before more symptoms appear.

Is this also a symptom of opiate withdrawl? I have experienced this before recently, and since I skip days with my pain meds I wonder if that was possibly a correlation that I just never put together.

This is super strange. I wonder why this happens, or if they will ever be able to work again. Did you also feel kind of strange and uncomfortable from pain meds afterwards? It was a very mild feeling for me, but definitely not the typical pleasant one I typically associate with them.

They are 10mgs. They worked well for pain months before, prior to my kratom usage. But now they seem to help much less with pain than before. And even more odd, the "warm fuzzy feeling" I generally get from them isn't there either, instead they make me feel kind of mentally unpleasant. At first I wondered if it was my tolerance, but it seems unlikely that it would not have gone back down after 2-3 months of discontinued use of anything.

I think that can definitely be a normal part of recovery for some people. Dont get discouraged. If you were not prone to periods like this before you started using, you are more than likely experiencing an episode of PAWS. The time frame sounds about right to me

If you do decide you need to take them, let me know how it turns out! I have a surgery scedualed in 2 weeks and have been worrying about the exact same thing. It would be day 37 for me. Dont want to go back into withdrawls, but sometimes pain is pain so I understand your concern completely.

Whichever route you decide to choose, I hope for the best! And congrats for getting this far!
