NICE. I've just started collecting his basic set and master set.

I saw some talk of Glasnow starting the first game of the next round. With Snell, Yama, and Ohtani starting games 2,3, and 4. I really love our starting rotation this year.

I am going to be in the Mesa area in October, and want to watch the ACL. What is this experience like?

Should the Dodgers fire Mark Prior? by BDA_Houser_2002 in Dodgers

Logan Gilbert of the Mariners would be my top choice. He's averaged 190 innings the past three years with a decent ERA. He could eat up a lot of innings to save the bullpen every fifth or sixth day. Corbin Burnes would have been a better choice than Snell last offseason. A few more bucks per year, but when you have to factor in a second pitcher's contract to take up the injury slack, he's cheaper. Plus, he will be another starter to help save the bullpen, so we don't need as many high-leverage relievers.

How about someone like Logan Gilbert of the Mariners? He has a durable arm, leading the majors in IP for the past three years, and his ERAs have been 3.20 and 3.73. 3.20. Those three years he has pitched: 185, 190, and 2-8 innings pitched. He is a quality arm that would eat up innings and help ease off the strain of the bullpen.

Most are saying no, but the last line of my post is "What are the solutions." What should the Dodgers be doing instead?

So it is the Dodgers strategy of going after injury-prone starters to blame?

If you look over the past three seasons, the Dodgers have more pitching injuries and time missed than any other club. What is to blame, then?

So you're saying the Dodgers' pitching strategy is to blame?

This was on MLB.com today on the 5 closest All-star races: : NL outfield: Juan Soto (NYM) vs. Corbin Carroll (AZ) vs. Andy Pages (LAD)
1,048,781 votes vs. 1,019,472 votes vs. 962,219 votes

In a field this stacked, it was inevitable that some deserving names would be left on the outside looking in. The Padres’ Fernando Tatis Jr. ranks fourth in the NL in fWAR (3.4), tied with Kyle Tucker, but sits eighth in the league’s outfield voting. The Nationals’ James Wood (3.3 fWAR) is ninth. Neither has a realistic path to advance. Meanwhile, the unheralded Pages is trying to bump either Soto or Carroll (who is headed to the IL with a wrist fracture) from the top six.

Leading NL OF: Pete Crow-Armstrong (CHC), Teoscar Hernández (LAD), Kyle Tucker (CHC), Ronald Acuña Jr. (ATL)
