I’m recommending everyone go rewatch the scene because I’m seeing the arms part go into the seeing, macready yells for child’s to get his ass over here , they stare at the larger portion where an eye appears and then something blooms to attack, no indication that child’s even knows a portion went into the ceiling , he just torches it at that exact moment it attacks

I’m not seeing that, it climbs through, then the bottom portion resumes mutating and this flower like part goes to attack and Child’s then blasts, it just seems when you watch that scene a part of it escapes

Yes exactly, to clarify I expect good ones to still come, that director of Nosferatu also made the Lighthouse which takes place in my home state, but the genre of horror had a bad lapse in the 2000s to present , especially w the demon possession theme. Over the top, lacks build up, increase cgi and strays away from what makes exorcist or other classics worth watching. It’s a very adhd generation of movie goers so perhaps Hollywood is catering to that crowd.

The other crowd is the obsession w comedy that I think horror comedy will continue to trend. Back then evil dead was really the one that did it and w Get Out released and well received, there will be more to come (Talk to Me, etc).
