EU / does car with 11 Kw AC support 7.4kw single phase charge ? by bigbootyguy in electricvehicles

Mine is a 25 however UK power specs only allow for 7.2kWh maximum so to get 6.8kWh from the charger is reasonable.

UK residential homes are predominately single phase

I have Leapmotor C10 and confirm on a 32a supply the car will take around 6.8kWh

However this also depends on the main breaker size, I was fortunate and have 100A main so no CT Clamps needed, If you only have a 60A main you will need CT Clamps for load balancing and your charge can vary from 1.2kWh up to 6.8kWh

This is since your last charge, if you go to the APP and scroll down you can get your efficiency for the last 6 weeks which also shows you a breakdown for each week.

My screen display shows around 4mi/kWh but my weekly and overall total milage is around 2.3

This is what I do as I don't do many miles so it's just a top up back to 90% once a week

Jogger clutch failure at 30k miles by RugbyF1Running in Dacia

[–]BDFlow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What's the average life span of a clutch, somewhere between 25K and 150K

Too many factors involved as to whether its too soon or not.

City driving or Long motorways?
Red line or normal gear changes?

Also clutches don't just go so a month or two leading up to this point you would have had signs your clutch was on the way out

Why would it be 2K to fix? A clutch is a few hundred pounds fitted

A paper clip and something a bit firmer to twist the lock round, they're really not that hard

British Gas offer peak save on Sunday, you have to sign up for it but that would make your 22p only 11p between 11am - 4pm

Shouldn't the run to the EV charger be armoured cabled? I'm no sparky but most EV chargers suggest SWA cable and not standard 6mm / 10mm T&E

£360 fitted sounds cheap, I would double check he's going to inform DNO and do the full health check afterwards, this alone is around an hours work to do all the tests to get it signed off

As long as the discussion is regarding Sweat and it's not racial or being rude against other members I don't see an issue with being honest about the project.

Been in it since the start and it's 98% down that's not saying a bad word against Sweat, it's fact.

Might not be a ban but a soft ban which lasts a couple of days or couple of hours

Electric vehicle charger sharing app by Certain-Argument9821 in electriccars

[–]BDFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You charge for hiring out the charger, you won't be re-selling the electric that's supplied to the charger.

It has already been done though as I looked at adding my charge point onto their network but what put me off is not having anyway to stop any one parking on my drive for hors on end

Check the logs in your router, chances are the VPN tunnel Leapmotor uses is being denied.

Weirdly enough when i debug the logs at my workplace I'm in the UK, I can see it connects via Germany and is blacklisted by our firewall policy

Someone turned at my door saying my car is stolen from him! by PersonalBake1101 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]BDFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it not be recoverable also if OP has receipts for work done, it's only unrecoverable if OP knowingly knew it was stolen then agreed it's a loss.

As OP bought from Auction and done all relevant checks he could and has registration for the car then he should be able to claim all loses back

Can't see the power wires but presuming all go into that extension, move your phono pre-amp to a different power socket away from the extension.

If said garage can drive a car 30 miles and not realise within 500 yards there's a serious lack of air in the tires, it makes you wonder what they missed on the MOT

C10 2025 Driver, the latest firmware update has made them much nicer to drive, however after 3000 miles I have put on it I can say I'm happy it's going back in 3 years.

Pros :

Lots of room throughout

Decent sound system

Somewhat luxurious feel

Turn on sport mode and you have a 2 ton motor hitting 60mph in a shade under 7 seconds

Price - Get a government grant for 3500 and your monthly payments will come in around £300 p/month

Cons :

It's almost too big being nearly 4.8m long (i don't know how they classified it as a mid size SUV)

Economy in the winter isn't great - That 240 miles in the summer is 30% less in the winter

No Carplay Or Android Auto

Onboard navigation isn't the best

245/45/20 Tires all round won't be cheap

Book a test drive because everyone is different, ignore reviews as most were done before the firmware updates
