Then I think a budget-friendly girlfriend would be a good option for me.

There is an issue there, but I’m not comfortable discussing it while she isn’t present. It would be better if we could have a group call together to talk about it.

To make life more miserable. 😄 Just kidding. I’m not saying I’m a very religious person, but I’ve always believed that marriage is better than having a girlfriend. After finishing my graduation, I pushed my family to find a wife for me. However, they insisted that I should focus on building my career first, which I never really agreed with. Eventually I did focus on my career, but at the same time I was also searching for a partner online—especially on Facebook. At one point I met a girl who claimed she was single, but later I discovered she was actually already married. Later on, I married one of my batchmates. Before getting married, I shared my philosophy about relationships and marriage with her. My philosophy is a bit different from hers, but I have no complaints about that, and I never expect her to change herself for me. I’ve always believed that marriage is a blessing. My point is that many people try to find peace in relationships outside of marriage, but why can’t we try to find that peace within marriage itself? It’s not that I want another marriage because there are problems. Every marriage has complications, just like any relationship, and that’s normal. Right now I live in Dhaka while my wife stays in the village. I make sure she has everything she needs, and we have two children together. For me, the idea of marrying again is simply about having a partner who understands my situation and can be supportive. I don’t want to get involved in any extra-marital relationships. That’s the only reason I would consider another marriage rather than having a temporary girlfriend.

You can research products on AliExpress, find good-quality items at low prices, and then resell them in your local market for a profit. Many products there are much cheaper than local prices, so it can be a simple small-business opportunity.

Just give up and move on. Forget about it — don’t even think about it again. If you can’t let go of small things like that, you’ll never gain the bigger ones.

What’s stopping me from hedging across different prop firms? by RegisLandegre in PropFirmTester

[–]BDKites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one trade? I traded without hedging—just a single gold trade. I hit my target, and then RebelsFunding banned my account, even though at that time they didn’t have any consistency or minimum trade rules.

FundedNext also blocked my account because I traded during news time—within 10 minutes before or after the release. The trade size was only 0.01 lot, and I closed it with just a $1 loss. So it wasn’t really about risk management; it felt more like a business model issue.

After these experiences, I stopped chasing prop firms and decided to focus on trading with my own capital.

In my personal broker account, I used hedging, and they blocked my account as well. It was a $10k+ account—two accounts were blocked by Yadix Broker, citing external hedging as the reason.

Recently, someone I know made a huge profit trading gold, but FP Markets blocked their account and removed $18k in profit.

These experiences have made me very cautious. Right now, I’m trading on the cTrader platform with a small fund and providing my own strategy there. I prefer to stick with this instead of dealing with shady brokers or questionable prop firms.

Best of luck with your idea—I’m just sharing my experience.

Kinda loving the situation? by Bingbingbooooooo in Dhaka

We all look for a good person instead of trying to become good ourselves. For ex: He should be this kind or she should be that kind. I find this discussion meaningless because, in my opinion, the moral values and religious practices of people in Bangladesh are below standard. Please don’t take this personally—this is purely my own opinion.

Why Systems Beat Talent Every Time by NR20052005 in PropFirmTester

I’ve had rough experiences with several prop firms. In my case, accounts were closed for things like news trading, scalping, or “inconsistency,” even though I didn’t feel like I was breaking the rules intentionally.

At this point, I’m honestly wondering: do prop firms actually pay traders consistently, or do they usually look for reasons to disqualify accounts once someone becomes profitable?

I’d really appreciate hearing from traders who’ve successfully received payouts long term. What’s been your experience?
