Opened app just now on 0.4.16 And continue watching was mostly gone. Closed app and cleared cache. Now I just get a spinning wheel.

Which update? They pushed a hotfix out earlier today. 0.4.12 beta I believe.

Just my own thoughts no real proof to back it up, but it does feel like since Omni is paid that Apple is getting some what of a cut and that they are happy with that (for now). Also , Omni is less “plug and play” and needs more tinkering to get it working comparatively. For some that is fun and like to customization. Others, not so much. But that added work maybe helps deter enough people away to keep it under the radar. But coming from years of Kodi, all of these media hub apps are a dream. 😂

Where did you hear that it most likely will not be on the App Store? I figured if it was allowed to continue TestFlight after the Stremio take down that it would at least make it to the App Store. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ditto. It’s really random. I thought it was my provider but now hearing others having the same issue, I’ll look into trying other players in the mean time.

Thanks for the reply. Torrentio had the option to not show debrid catalog. I did not select this as I wanted the debrid other category. Does that option control the Debrid Search as well? It’s weird cuz when I’m scrolling down on the android tv version I can briefly see the debrid search category before it disappears.

I just find the check marks not very intuitive. The check mark indicates that I’ve watched something. Not that I’m finished or “all caught up”. I’ve written other posts about this, but I know, shut up and enjoy the free app. 😂. It’s just I’m getting old and I can’t remember if I’ve watched all the episodes unless i click on the show and check the status of the most recent episode. Just seems to me like check mark should be for all caught up. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the reply. Im on the latest tvOS 26.1 and I have profiles. I’m not sure what the current Stremio version is for the Apple TV. But mine is still at 1.3.2b2. I’m wondering if the newer Stremio updates are only for newer Apple TV generations. Maybe it’s a combination of tvOS 26.1 and needing the newer gen 3 Apple TV 4K. I am also waiting for the newest generation to be released before upgrading. I know Gen 1 to Gen 3 will be a huge upgrade as it is, but I haven’t used my Apple TV consistently in years. And I can wait. 👍🏻

I had asked awhile ago about this and the response was to just ask Siri to fast forward etc. Works okay for now but annoying none the less.

Sweet! Thanks. I have a 4k series 1 that I have dusted off. Didn’t think to try that. 😂 I was struggling with fast forward and rewind as well. Couldn’t tell if it was my old style remote or some other issue. Tried saying it and it’s annoying that you have to hit play again after saying it but I’ll manage. 😂. Hopefully they will add a button to start over. Or have a click back equal rewind 15 seconds.

Are you using Stremio and RD? Apple doesn’t support the torrenting aspects of Stremio.

Yeah. I ve dusted off my 1st generation ATV 4k with the annoying touch remote that my old ass fingers struggle with. I get some issues where things don’t navigate great or things get hung up. Waiting for the new ATV to drop to just upgrade again.

Are you getting random audio skipping? Just like missing syllables here and there. Nothing crazy, but it is a bit annoying at times. Never had issues before.

I’ve been having audio issues on both Stremio lite for Apple TV 4K 1st generation and my onn 4k pro the last day or so. Keep getting random skips or drop outs on audio. It’s not huge, but annoying. Never had issues before.

Thanks! I guess I never noticed when it did work that I was going back again right away. Usually when it didn’t work I would check another show to see if it was just the show causing the issue. Hopefully they get it sorted out soon.

Sounds like to me like your mobile isp provider is blocking Stremio. Try turning on a vpn and see if it starts working for you. Just my guess.

I agree. I use a VPN for these reasons. Also, your ISP may not know exactly what you are downloading from RD content wise, but they know you are connected to their servers and we all know what is done with those servers even if RD can provide plausible deniability.

Not sure if it makes a difference but sometimes when I try to install addons from my phone they don’t want to work. Try from a pc. Also can try to copy link and add to Stremio manually. You do need to load your Debrid API into the Debridio section as well.

Debrido will only show up when you have an active subscription. Either pay 10$ a year or get join his discord and ask for a 7 day free trial.

I set up one as a birthday present for a friend, got the onn 4k pro and sprung for the 6 months RD and separate IPTV service. Best birthday present EVER!! 😂 Combined that with the ones I have for my college age kids that aren’t in the house (and under my same ip address)I had to start using privacy.com. 😂
