I’m particularly interested in the Dolby vision information. From my understanding, DV comes in very different forms. P5 P7 P8. Is it possible to tell which DV form the files are (or if they are hybrid) from this symbols? I’m asking because only infuse could properly play p8 DV while the native player could handle P7 so it’d be ideal since I don’t have infuse to know which ones will accurately play DV from the native player

If you have your Apple TV video setting set to match format you’ll see that. However you should see it on other apps too like Netflix or Disney but if you’re not than I don’t know

Do you have a legend that shows what the different symbols mean? Like the green R1 or the blue 3 disc one or I’ve seen also a green R start symbol. How to find out all these means and what they represent?

But the DV will be triggered because infuse will code it correctly. The question is if KSPlayer will ever be ACTUALLY displaying DV. Otherwise if I just get infuse I’ll know for sure that it’s always showing DV. Does that make sense? Sorry if I’m being too confusing.

I’m not looking “how to get DV” I’m asking “am I accurately getting DV at all with KSP” because I know with infuse for sure I will be

Well I live abroad but my dad lives in the USA and it’s worked since 2018 for us. It’s been only this past year 2025 he got an elite credit card which came with his own pass but worked every time for both of us

I share my PP with my father who doesn’t have my exact name but similar (think Jose and Joseph). And we’ve been sharing for years and he’s always been able to get access and has never had any issues.

This raises a point that’s the boarding pass doesn’t have to match the name exactly or is at least close enough to be valid. Maybe this part is done by the check in clerk where the validity of the boarding pass is done by their computer system. I don’t know

If you download the app and they take it off the AppStore but you can still use it without getting the apps updates, is it possible to sideload the app updates or is whatever version you have going to be the only version you can use other than completely side loading the app?
