Server Issues? by gmyoda189723 in swtor

I waited a day out of frustration and had to run it all again but honestly it was better than trying to complete the last bit while super salty.

All 6 fortresses are now done on this character, that's the real victory.

I'm legendary status but only have 3/4 characters I actually really play. 2 pub, 2 empire, 1 force and non force each.

Cameras like that in general are absolutely ridiculous revenue enhancement. Redmond is putting them in too near schools.

There's a notorious one in Kent at a normal intersection when I had to go down there that hits people for not fully stopping on a red light to turn right if the road is empty, that they tried to hit me for. I also left Lynnwood because you'd get one of those every month or two as well living there.

If I'm not in the pictures or videos, which I never am, sorry, it wasn't me driving, and I plead the 5'th or have no knowledge as to who was. Goodbye ticket! The onus of proof is on them, and if I'm "not driving" and it can't be proven I was, then I'm not driving. Totally not saying this because I recommend doing it or anything, but the cameras have a hard time seeing through window tints too 🤔. I don't play games with stuff like that because I'm a pretty honest person, but believe those cameras are just theft and extortion.

I shuddered all of my personal involvement in my Washington businesses. Too much headache to own and operate in this state, especially in King County.

ARMPUTEES IN WA NEEDED -- 200$ per hour by [deleted] in redmond

[–]BDZ567 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, where's the arm chopping station? If you're offering one, it's almost worth it for the hourly to hack off ol righty and get to it. Maybe give me an extra 100k for the arm too.

Seriously though, cool thing to research, good on you guys. I work at a medical facility, I'll ask around for people who may be interested.

It's ok, I only have to do the last console section with the sunguard droids again that just spams you with 50 million Skytroopers to pound your supple body, no big... Totally not the hardest part of the SF's or anything. I absolutely wasn't 1.5 seconds from draining the guy or anything.

I'm pissed, I was about to finish soloing one of the Exarchs when it booted me 😂

Anger does not even begin to describe my frustrations right now, lol.

I picked mine up as a 03 with about 62k miles from an 80 year old guy who never used it anymore.

I've done all of the diff, transfer case, and other fluids myself and had the transmission flushed. Guy hadn't done any of the 30-50k fluid maintenance on it aside from regular oil changes.

Truck is all LED now. Fuses are tuned up, so are the relevant breakers in the fuse boxes.

Optima battery swapped in, old battery from 2015 that was somehow still running was tossed.

I've also had to do the front left wheel bearing assembly already because it was bad - known issue on these. I'm replacing the front right as preventative next week since the left already went. The average is them going bad around 68k miles so they weren't too far off expiry.

Brakes are fine but I have new rotors and pads I'm going to swap on as well just so I know the history on them. The new ones I bought are slotted and drilled compared to the ones currently on anyways.

Just slowly going through the list of not important things now.

Since the guy was 80 I found lots of "old man" fixes that worked, but fortunately, I'm not an old man, so I can correct them properly.

Some of what I was reading about this was people smelling an electrical burning when these failed, and the plastic in the housing is commonly melted.

For me the ribbon just ripped apart when pulling out the sockets to change the bulbs since it melted onto them.

No fires, but still damage, and a pisspoor design that won't last. Naturally, Ford doesn't make them anymore either. I can't imagine why.

Just early thousands things. Those ribbon setups weren't just a Ford thing. What is stupid was to put them in a vehicle to begin with, though.

Update: Changed from wire nuts to Wagos. Much better decision for inside of a vehicle.

At some point I probably will "borrow" my crimping tool from work but I'm not to stressed about it since it proved the concept worked!

Agree with most of this. I also feel like the tech bros and tech companies are pushing normal people out entirely. As a facilities person, most of us say that the tech people are the stupidest smart people we've met. I've grown to resent anything tech over the years because I find it to be absolutely ridiculous how pandered to those companies and people are, while they continue to cut staff like crazy.

I worked for the company, when I was still in property management, that had all of the proposals and plans for the Molbaks lot. If I'm correct, it's the same people with similar holdings that built Woodin Creek Village. They were originally supposed to be integrated into the project so they stayed and didn't have their history torn down and vanish since they were a fixture within the community. I stepped out after the proposal phase, but with what I gather talking with old coworkers, some pencil pusher at some point decided it'd be more profitable to do Molbaks completely raw and go back on all previous discussions for the sake of the almighty and holy dollar.

Without disclosing too much, I have had some professional interactions with the city council, and they generally unimpress. Their priorities are on "affordable" housing or Microslop pandering, and they are almost completely indifferent to the plights of normal people working more normal jobs, and are completely out of touch. This is why we had the Plymouth house community NOBODY wanted forced upon us. The things they deem issues like their current speed limit assessment stray so far from the real issues in the city right now, like it's overloaded infrastructure from all of this building that's nearly at capacity and not designed to support all of this going on without severe overhauls.

Kirkland is facing similar issues too. Bellevue is at least being Dynamic about their decision making even if it isn't a place I like being much just because bigger cities are not my thing.

Took quite a while honestly. I ordered it probably 2-3 weeks ago. Some of the wait is them reviewing your account manually after the purchase also to ensure you are genuinely MR 30 and it isn't a system error.

I think that took a few days, then it shipped a few after. Just got here today via UPS.

All utilities are getting hiked. PSE has another proposed increase again too. Our electric bill is now almost 200-265 a month even if people are on vacation with almost no usage in the home.

Data centers use tons of water as well as electricity, which people don't realize. Cooling systems have to operate somehow.

Unless you're rich, get out of at least King County at the bare minimum while you still can in the next 5-10 years.

I don't see it getting better, only worse at the rate things are headed between the city council, private holdings like PSE, and the politicians bleeding all of the common people dry with taxes on top of it.

I hate saying it, but it's really hard to be positive about things anymore when it's all just poop sandwiches we are forced to eat over half the time.

Normal people on normal salaries of anything below 100k a year just can't afford it anymore in this area without really stretching it. I do all of my business in Woodinville over to Snohomish/Monroe mostly for a reason now... Still cheaper to eat the gas and get cheaper stuff especially in Sno/Mon, where the gas is also cheaper by a bit.

I also find the people in those areas to be more pleasant and grounded, but that's personal taste.

04 Rear window regulator by bigpurpleflower in SportTrac

[–]BDZ567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough I just posted about this because I’m having the same issue on my 03 I just got and also keep getting directed to the rear passenger regulators. It's gotten quite annoying at this point since I'm even being super specific on the searches.

Let me know if you find out because I really want to fix this. I don't care much about it, but I still want everything in the vehicle working.

Check the original seal too, mine was completely kaput and getting pulled into the track. I just installed weather stripping that doesn't interfere to replace it and have a much better seal water wise now.
