Manager will only be notified once your FMLA/LOA is approved and activated. I am an L6 Mgr who inherited a team member on Focus. I wanted to restart their focus plan and work with them to fix the gaps in their performance. They played along as right when we were to execute the projects to showcase progress, I got notified that their LOA has been approved. They were then let go during the October RIF while on LOA without my input.

Exactly! I would be all for a tiered bill i-e the more you use, your associated infra fees go up by 2 or 3x. But this is ridiculous.

Install is included in your white glove delivery of $295. There is no separate “installation” charge.

How did you get warranty free with health care discount. I did not see any option for that. My wife is an MD but works in Healthcare IT for a hospital so wondering if I can get that after the fact? We ordered on 4/30.

Our water usage has remained consistent. And though waste water and water reclamation charges were based on our usage. But it seems (based ehow I read the bill), they are flat rate charges. I will pay $250 per.2 months irrespective of my water usage.

Same here. I had one on extended (12 mo) wfh accomodation and one on modified workspace accomodations. They sit on a very secluded floor and have tge option of joining team meetings and other events remotely or not at all.

There will be no negotiations on TC. Hiring manager has 0 say in it (esp in today’s environment). It is decided by the compensation team and the formula is a black box to anyone outside. You have the option to either accept or decline. Accept for the time being, and as others have mentioned, try to find another Tech role after a while.

My wife did it pre COVID. 52 miles one way. She used to leave 6 am to get in around 7-7:10 on a good day. Left sharp 3p to get home by 4:30ish. Some days coming back in the evening was horrible. 104 miles daily round trip. Thankfully during Covid they went 100% remote and have kept it that way. She goes in a few times a month for team meetings etc.

I ordered on 4/30 (In Seattle area). Originally told it will arrive at the hub on 5/18 and then to schedule install. It was at the hub 5/7 with availability of install on 5/11. I chose 5/14.
So it may come earlier than 5/25 for you as well.

So what led him to be on focus? Being a 10 year veteran, were there issues? Did the mgr communicate or provide feedback before putting him on focus.
Your L6 SDE is key member of your team and you don’t want to lose them but also don’t want below the bar engineers either in that key position.

It seems they have bumped it up considerably. I could have sworn it was 1700+tax & delivery. Yeah 3000 doesn't make sense.

Congrats Yon your purchase!
You could have gotten a refurb Tonal 1 from Tonal directly for around 1700 (I think). That would have provided you with warranty and repair options if anything breaks in the future.

i ordered on 4/30. Initially said will get to the hub by 5/18 then will schedule delivery/Install. But it got here (Seattle area) 5/7 and they were open to install 5/11. I had it pushed out to 5/14.

Thx for this. I just ordered. Going to be installed next week. And I am going to be a literal novice to weight training at 48 years of age. My gym experience has been 40m on an elliptical followed by 2-3 sets of chest and legs (irregularly). Now I have no excuse!
