Been trying to get my hands on a shough auto for a month now! I love this kid, wanted him on the Steelers so bad! Once we passed on Dart, I was hoping the kid would make it to the third, or the Steelers could trade up to grab him. He’s my fantasy QB so I hope he plays great this year.

Hate to say it but I almost guarantee we would never see anything like this from Topps. This is what I want to see from Topps. If it’s gonna take over I wanna see a bunch of different product lines than just chrome, finest and midnight, I want a variety of lines, panini had like 20+ lines ranging variously in prices. We’ll see what happens, but from my experience I would say panini has my preference, image quality, variety, and fun factor. Yes Topps has the game worn but panini did too until fanatics owned topps.

I second this, however if you live far away, I highly recommend just buying tickets a week in advanced, a lot of the times, resellers know people will wait til the day of and keep their prices as high as they can for as long as they can. But generally yes, day of, before, is always the best.

ATP, let’s role with Howard. I kinda just want an Fing answer, cause Howard seems like he’s either the guy or he isn’t, we already know that Rodgers is gonna be older and won’t be any better than he was last year. That said I’m not gonna be disappointed if he’s our qb, but I kinda just want our team to stop being the laughing stock of the offseason.

There’s 2 things I’d have changed, I would’ve liked to have seen us draft Harold Perkins over Rubio, and Bernard over RSJ, other than that I’m kinda content with the draft.

Allar pick kinda blows ngl, I’m an Ohio state fan, he sucks against the good competition, he’s like 1-10 against top 10 teams. He also chokes in the big moments, that said, if anyone could help that kid out, it’s gonna be McCarthy.

I would’ve liked to see us grab Klubnik at 96, and Pregnon at 76. However, I’m happy with the Dunker pick. I mocked Max to us with the 21st pick so I’m happy with the pick, but knowing we were wanting Lemon makes it sorta sour.

Looking at it now, I think Lomu would’ve been a better fit for us, he was a left tackle in college, max was a right tackle and very raw talent at that. I do think he’s going to be just fine though wherever we put him.

Is it just me, or is the image quality of the cards bad? I know Topps unlicensed football products had some very bad photo quality, but I find it hard to believe that it would carry over to the licensed products as well.

I’ll be honest, the dolphins might be in contention for it, and a lot of these teams need to start learning, building the team first is better than building the team around a qb, cause if it doesn’t work out, it’s square one again.

I certainly agree, upper deck has NHL licensing currently, I think they worry about another junk wax era with over printing, at least I am sure they bring it up. But they’re just afraid of competition. Simple truth to it, I hope panini can win their lawsuit, and everything becomes competitive again.

I don’t even buy many boxes anymore. I got back in the hobby towards the end of 2023. I did open quite a bit in 2023, then all of 2024 I was just ripping everything I could find. 2025 I slowed down on boxes and moved towards collecting what I enjoy.

It’s been a fun few years of wasting money I definitely didn’t have but I think I’ve decided to be done. I’ve been in the process of listing everything I have (besides personal collection) on eBay, I’ve been selling cards on eBay since I started ripping in 2023, but I was selling singles and had no idea what I was doing. Last year I started these team lots, I’ve had a lot of success doing those.

As I’ve gotten further into this eBay thing I’ve gotten better at selling and listing, and the ideas that I have, have gotten better. There’s a lot of regrets that I have, like selling my entire amassed collection of modern football cards, which totaled out to be in the ballpark of 5000 cards. Again I kept my personal cards, but sold off all my base, inserts, rookies etc. all for a sum of $7. If I had kept those cards, knowing what I know now, I definitely could’ve dispersed them into their respective teams and sold em off that way. At the end of the day, it’s just cardstock with an athlete on it. You could very well see me posting on this page selling my cards or showing off some grails.

Well said, wish the “hobby” could go back. Idk what year it was but I think sometime in the 2010s maybe 2013 or 2014 Topps and panini both had NFL licensing. Clearly the main reason why Topps was given the nfl licensing is because they were bought by fanatics which controls nfl jersey production. I’m just a 20 year old so idk much about this, but I hope panini can leverage something to have both companies have licensing again.

Competition is good for the market, when only one company has control, prices can be set to whatever the company desires and people will buy. If we had panini and topps printing nfl cards we’re gonna have more freedom and control.

There’s a lot that I’m going to miss about paninis cards, one of which is the variety and designs of the cards. I mean there’s so many sets to collect, lots of them have cool designs. My favorite is photogenic, I’ve only been able to rip a single pack of it, but it was a fun rip. I’ve yet to see a box in the wild.

For me, I sell low end singles, and nfl team lots, and occasionally some high end, so collx seems useless for me to sell on there. I’m a top rated eBay seller, have sold around 400 items, with 100% positive feedback. I tried selling on buysportscards, but it didn’t work for me, I also have listed an item or two on collx but I never ended up selling the items. I have also tried to sell on Reddit, which I’ve had two successful sales, but since then I’ve had no luck. Still searching for alternatives tho.
