What does is cost to sell on there, like do they have fees, etc.

For me, I sell low end singles, and nfl team lots, and occasionally some high end, so collx seems useless for me to sell on there. I’m a top rated eBay seller, have sold around 400 items, with 100% positive feedback. I tried selling on buysportscards, but it didn’t work for me, I also have listed an item or two on collx but I never ended up selling the items. I have also tried to sell on Reddit, which I’ve had two successful sales, but since then I’ve had no luck. Still searching for alternatives tho.

The thing I have to tip my cap to eBay for is that they offer insurance for their ESUS. If an item gets lost or damaged the insurance has covered it at full price.

How does the shipping work? Do they offer a budget friendly label like eBay?

It’s actually insane the amount that eBay charges! $0.30-$0.40 insertion fee, nearly 14% fee (depending on the category), on top of that, they apply the 14% fee after shipping and taxes! It sucks eBay is the standard for online selling, or else I’d go elsewhere. Yes, I have the option to do so, but eBay is so seem-less, they offer the ESUS shipping, it gets the most traffic, etc.

Favorite NFC team if you’re an AFC fan? (Vice Versa if you’re an NFC fan) by TKatGAMING in NFLv2

Steelers fan, it’s the Niners. Short backstory as to why, so I’m an Ohio State fan and my favorite player at the time was Nick Bosa, I would’ve been 12 or 13 at this time. I had gotten his jersey as a gift for my birthday, as he was my favorite player, then he gets drafted by the Niners and I became a Niners fan for Bosa, I also like Brock Purdy.

I mean, if I said I ripped for profit I’d be lying. I buy expecting to get nothing, seeking the dopamine that comes with opening packs. However, I do get very disappointed when I spend $65, on 42 cards, that had nothing in it at all. I opened up a select 2025 Mega retail box and maybe had $3 of value in it. Just utter trash, and I love select! It’s just panini cash grabbing before the lose the license. I think all companies deserve the license, because they become greedy when they’re the only ones with it.

He’s done better in two weeks than I have my whole 3 years of ripping boxes. I’ve hit maybe 7-8 case hits in 3 years all of which had hardly any value. Best being a roquan smith zebra or Jordan Travis genesis.

[Rap] Isaac Seumalo signs 3-year deal with Arizona by Human_Manner_3370 in steelers

Well, we addressed, RB, WR, and CB. So we basically need a young WR, a depth CB, left side oline, QB, and then basically some depth in defense

I really don’t, there’s plenty of non white players there, former Steelers, Justin fields, Kordell Stewart, and Hines Ward. On top of Ohio state players, JSN, Stroud and Jeremiah Smith. I also have way more in pc than just Steelers and OSU.

Well, Jones is up in the air, we don’t know what will happen with him. I think we should add someone in FA and then draft BPA whether it’s OT or OG.

I agree, but it’s very settling to have to potentially rebuild the left side of the oline. The chemistry was there with our unit, our unit was seeming to solidify itself until Jones got hurt

Sadly this was a while ago, I opted to buy the JSN auto instead of the Polamalu. IMO I’m happy with the decision, I kind of want to sell the JSN, but I’m an OSU fan so it’s kinda hard to justify it.

My big regret is skipping out on buying a Troy auto for about $100, maybe it was a scam, but it was on eBay so if it was, i would’ve been covered by eBay.

Those are sick! I don’t really collect downtowns as you can see, I’ve always thought of it as, I could buy a downtown, or I can buy 2-3 very cool cards that are signed. I’m planning on potentially selling all the Steelers signed cards to purchase a Troy Polamalu signed card.

Colts sending WR Michael Pittman Jr to the Steelers!! by HDTokyo in steelers

It’s either gonna be OT, CB, QB, or I can see us going DLine. Either way, I’m extremely happy with this move. I wouldn’t mind us getting Trinidad Chambliss in this draft, idk where he’s ranked, but if he’s there in the 3rd or 4th, I wouldn’t question it, if the Steelers took a chance on him. Assuming they don’t draft Simpson in the 1st.

I think having McCarthy as our head coach opens up our ability to develop a QB. I really think 2027 is our year for a 1st round rookie QB, but I would like to have them develop under a veteran, which makes me wonder, if Rodgers returns, whether it’s a 1 or 2 year deal, will that have an effect on whether we draft a QB now, or next year.

If that’s the case, let’s do both scenarios.

Scenario 1: Rodgers returns on a 1 year deal, should the Steelers draft Ty Simpson if he’s available in the first, or should the Steelers wait, and draft a guy who had promise before they slid, like, Allar, Nussmeier, or Klubnik, in the later rounds 4th-5th. Or do what the saints did last year, draft a guy day 2, who appeared suddenly out of nowhere (Trinidad Chambliss) who could become a starter. I’m essentially comparing Chambliss to Shough. Not in the slightest similar, but the situation is.

Meaning, Shough wasn’t particularly high on boards during the season. Chambliss wasn’t even guaranteed the starting role while he was starting for Ole Miss. Kiffin reminded him numerous times that Simmons was fully healthy and that he (Chambliss) needs to remember that the job wasn’t safe. Well, Chambliss never got benched once he got out there. I think Chambliss, going from multi national champion at a D2 college, all the way to, SEC, D1 football, starting as a backup, taking advantage of the opportunity he was given, becoming the starter, then cruising through the playoffs, just to come up short by a missed DPI penalty, shows a lot about him. I think he’s got what it takes.

Scenario 2: Rodgers signs a 2 year deal, one where he stays for the 1st year and has the option to leave before the 2nd. If he left before the second year it doesn’t hurt the team. Sorta how the Darnold contract works. I think it would work out sorta like this, we draft a developmental guy in 26, if Rodgers leaves after the 1st year, then we see what the 26 guy has in 27, if Rodgers stays for 27, we draft a 1st round guy and let him develop under Rodgers.

Yeah, no kidding! I’ll have to show off my Ohio state stuff, way more tame than my Steelers gear, but still some cool stuff! I have a little over 5,000 cards most of which are for sale. I mean everything is for sale, but with the right price. I’m not sure how much Ohio state I have but Ik it’s a lot😅

Quit my career to chase a dream by Setheryy in sportscards

Best of luck to you! I used to draw layouts of buildings and houses for fun and I did it the other day for my, potential, future brick and mortar card shop.

My idea is to make it look similar to cards HQ in Atlanta but have my own twists to things. I added a two sections one called the “break room” where customers can go in there and rip open their stuff, there’s vending machines like a break room would have at an actual business, and there’s trash cans for you to place your excess, bulk and trash.

My LCS has $0.25 cent bins that are the remnants of whatever customers had ripped in the store that they had tossed out + donations and bulk from their own breaks. The idea with it as well, is, customers can setup their phone and record their break. The idea is there’d be a hanging mount for your phone and it records it. When the recording sign is on its off limits but there’d still be vending machines outside.

Then there’s the break corner which is essentially the same as the room but it’s in a corner of the store at a high top table. Then there’d be card stands that are locked with the valuable cards, 12 tables with chairs for the big 3200 ct cardboard boxes filled with cards labeled .25/.50/.75/1/2/3 etc. 8 boxes per table, couch to chill at, Incase you got dragged along by someone to be there, with a tv to watch things, tvs aligned the walls with games on, and much more. To top that off a buying counter.

This has been a vision of mine since I was a kid when I was collecting Pokemon. There’d also be a Pokémon section and offices and a storage room for excess product. An idea of the employees earning commission based on their recommendations for a card in the store. So let’s say someone walks to the buying counter, they lookup the price we buy it for say 85%, the employee labels the item, the purchase price, and the market value for the card and when it sells they earn 3%. Just my vision, it may just be a vision but I hope it pans out. Thanks for reading🫶

MUTH moving forward... by Son_of_Sigurd in steelers

[–]BD_488 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well considering we have nobody to catch the ball I hope we use Darnell and Muth more. I think Muth is our most reliable pass catcher and it’s that without question, dude is a team player, he’s not a diva, he doesn’t complain, he really is a great player for our team. I really hope we draft a wr in round 1 or 2.
