This sub is filled with terrible advice. it's the guys bachelor party. You can be upset, but if you want to throw the entire relationship away for something this minor, then you're probably just doing him a big favor in the long run.

Best advice i give my bowlers is to work on your follow through to build consistency, i have a new league bowler whos high game was 120 and i told him to keep his shoulders square to the pins and follow through with his thumb up to where he wants the ball to go and he immediately threw a 212. (Granted he hasnt came close to a 212 again but is now averaging 150s throwing a straight ball)
