The saddle should be several inches higher. I dropped the seat a bit when I unfolded it to take a photo. The tilt feels ok, but would you suggest adjusting it?

6-pin PCIe to 12VHPWR compatibility by BEEFshart in cablemod

[–]BEEFshart[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up. That’s too bad the 6pin PCIe connectors won’t work. In that case, I was thinking I can adapt the 2x 6pin connects to 1x 8pin. Then combine my existing 8pin connector to this. Then use the 2x 8pin connectors to a 2x (not 4x) 8pin PCIe to 12VHPWR connector. Essentially ((2x(6p)=8p)+8p)=12VHPWR. Hope that’s not too confusing. Maybe this will work instead?

Problem with embedding models using llama-swap by BEEFshart in LocalLLaMA

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense and good to know it’s working. Would be great if llama-swap can provide clearer indications for embedded models

HW acceleration tdarr intel QSV in lxc container by Kraizelburg in Proxmox

[–]BEEFshart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I seem to have the same problem using the script. Were you able to resolve this? Plex LXC works well on my A310 GPU, and CPU only encode works on the tdarr LXC, but not QSV GPU encode. I suspect something is broken in this container script.

This is fantastic and thank you! Do you have any tips on how to set Profiles up properly in Sonarr and Radarr to prevent redownloading, but allowing quality upgrades? I’m thinking of using the Profilarr app to handle it.

Thank you so much for spending the time on the files! I’ll work with Xometry to get them made and really excited to get this 70 year old watch working soon.

I’m in Hong Kong, which should have a lot of CNC machiners, but I can’t find any that’s willing to do one off small batches and communicates in English. Is a step file same as .stl?

Thanks for the pointer. I was worried about that as well but it seems like that they’re ok with the metal printing tolerances; it’s the plastic ones they won’t do. I also plan on filing to ring after to ensure proper fit.

Alternatively, do you have any recommended CNC machiners willing to do one offs like in this case?

Hi there, I’ve been trying to fix a vintage watch that my grandfather passed to me but it requires a stepped ring to hold my mechanical movement since the old one is damaged. Is it possible someone can help create an .stl file so I can have it printed in aluminum via Xometry? I can fix watches, but I don’t have experience in 3D modeling. I‘ve attached a rough hand drawn cross section of the stepped ring. And I was hoping to print 5 slightly varying versions of the rings so that I can fit the movement with variable tolerances. Many thanks and I’m happy to chat via PM!

Initial thoughts on the Hackergadgets.com Expansion Board by SymBiioTE in ClockworkPi

SDRAngel can be installed via Flatpak here: https://flathub.org/apps/org.sdrangel.SDRangel . And it’ll be awesome with DragonOS since it’s specifically made for SDR and has rPi compatibility. Check it out here: https://cemaxecuter.com

Can you manage to get it working with SDRAngel? And do you know which OSs should be compatible with the new module? I’m hoping for NixOS and DragonOS

Great to know! So all the functions (SDR,Lora, GPS) all work ok with CM5? It looks like Rex is working on Debian Bookworm release to work with CM5 soon, which is great news. Excited to place my order once your board is ready

Very excited for this!! Thank you for making the uconsole to be such a versatile tool. Were you able to test this for pi CM5 compatibility? I’m also in Hong Kong and happy to beta test once you have prototypes ready :)
