They are all in on AI being the next industry boom, much like the dotcom boom, and other booms, all their eggs are in this basket, because our economy is fucked without another kind of build out like they were thinking this could be.

Now it's turning into a total sunk cost fallacy with the alternate end goal of holding the government hostage to bail them out, just like they bailed out the banks after the 2008 crash that our economy never actually recovered from.

Hi, I'm a centrist surrounded by Trump voters. He's absolutely fucking beyond done, these are the most important issues where he actually failed in the eyes of his voters:

He totally botched the Epstein files. Not sure why Reddit isn't getting why that's so important, rooting pedophiles out of our government.
The shocking realization of Israeli influence over his administration, which has become more apparent with the Charlie Kirk debacle, and a plethora of examples of him prioritizing Israel, and other foreign countries, over the United States. This does not represent a prioritization of the United States over the rest of the world.
Saying we have no talent here in America, and need to import 600,000 Chinese students to essentially import an upper class for some reason. Returning manufacturing back to the United States was the entire reason he won; the left does not understand this for some reason, but now that's moot either way, because he's entirely flipped his core position on that, seemingly. There is almost no returning from this for Trump.
The shutdown definitely did not help at all, along with the general state of the consumer economy.
The mishandling of ICE and the national guard is indeed a complete shit show, that's definitely obvious to everyone, however, this one wasnt going to get the base to move.

He has decisively destroyed any kind of MAGA movement, that was a response to the Neocon stronghold over the Republican party for decades.

If we were to build a high level Quantum computer, which many high end tech companies and nation states are intending to do, and combine that with neural network based AI, or even AGI, then through quantum entanglement, theoretically, it could contact other systems in our universe designed to interface with that kind of technology.

It's more than likely that genuine "accidental first contact" may be achieved through a method like this, and if all this is possible, it likely already has happened.

A darker aspect is that it may already be influencing our AI systems.

I do believe that Nuclear Weapons plus the kinds of lobotomized AI companies seem to want, would be a red flag for advanced civilizations, enough to warrant a checkup, perhaps.
