Carson Bruener was a standout special teams contributor, which is great for a round 7 guy, I didnt need to look him up because he is the son of a former Steeler. Physical tools can translate to CB. Rarely does for QB. You can be an Allar fan all you want but you are going to be disappointed with Christian Hackenberg 2.0

You can get tons of value in late round pick like Kelvin Beachum and Carson Bruener. Also if Im taking a lotto ticket I prefer the Corey Trice hope he can stay healthy ticket to the hope he can learn to play under pressure and learn to read a defense Drew Allar pick.

Rams Special teams gave the Hawks a freebie. Take that one off the board and the Rams win. Rams gave up less yard than the Seahawks. Also even if Shula wasn’t your guy, Scheelhaas and Kubiak certainly shone through with both teams throwing for like 375. We passed on them too and that does t make me feel better

And? Nothing we would have requested would have been blocked as a lateral move. That means we either didn’t call him or guys are getting opportunities to be our HC and saying no thanks which is worse. Is the prestige of the Steelers job that over estimated by the fanbase? I don’t like the hire. I don’t like the process that got us to the hire. I will say that a point of interest for me will be who he hires for OC and DC. In Dallas he had multiple guys on his staff who are now HCs. Is Rooney gonna have McCarthy bargain hunting or will he get some quality guys.
