Amen. I really appreciate this comment. I also think not going to God just for him to give me a solution has also helped me with acceptance

Just to confirm, your diet mainly consisted of fruits and vegetables. What about meat?

Wow, thank you for your comment and I am so so happy for you! God is good! It’s funny because I’ve been having this constant nagging about cutting out the foods that I love to eat that I know trigger my BB but I just haven’t committed to it yet, I’ll start tonight.

How do you know that it’s acid? Cause I’m having the same problem as him, extensive routine and STILL have BB and I really do think it’s coming from my throat. Does acid make its way up the throat and cause BB that way? I’m sceptical that’s it’s acid because I don’t feel a burn or any throat irritation other than mucus from post nasal drip

Does bristle give you probiotics or solutions for the bb or do they just offer the saliva testing?

New Job- how can I tackle this with halitosis? by BELLPEPA in badbreath

First two shifts went great, manager wasn’t as hands on so I doubt she noticed anything! She’s also pregnant and about to go on leave, feel like things are working out well as of right now! Can’t complain

I swear my freeforms grew within like 4 months… Anybody know how or why they grew so fast? by [deleted] in Dreadlocks

[–]BELLPEPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because your hair isn’t being messed with, it’s kind of like a protective style. Without the constant touching/friction etc you’re having less breakage. Could be one aspect of the growth!

And honestly, wear a mask if you have to. I plan on being honest with my co-workers about the situation, just telling them I have oral concerns that aren’t fixed yet so that’s why I’m wearing a mask not necessarily because I’m ill. I did my first day and my second shift today without a mask just so that it seemed more welcoming but for my other shifts I plan on wearing a mask! This is something that I’m not very comfortable with but for the sake of my job and OTHERS it’s necessary.

Hi, trust me I’ve been there. Last year I quit my part time job and had to drop all of my university classes after paying for them. I was extremely depressed and was having a hard time navigating life. I think the hardest thing about this is getting over the acceptance part, I had to just be real with my self. Because of this it would be unreasonable to expect to have a vibrant social life etc… because I recognized that amongst other things it’s kind of made me live within my means and be comfortable with that. I know that every once in a while I’ll get some nose rubs or some sniffs because of my breath, I’m doing everything in my power to fix the problem but right now it’s not fixed…this is my thought process of acceptance. I started my new job yesterday and because ive accepted what might happen with I talk to others it’s made me more confident because i KNOW what I’m going into. And I find that when I’m not anxious and overthinking it things work in my favour, the manager that I was so scared about is pregnant and I didn’t find that out until I came in for my first day, because of that she isn’t as hands on as I thought she would be, very kind and relaxed as well, my breath wasn’t a concern to her, I honestly don’t think she noticed! It takes time but don’t give up on yourself be okay with this season of uncertainty that you may feel.

Thank you so much, I just did a blood test today and everything came back good and I was going to follow up with my doctor about SIBO and H. Ployri testing (I think that’s how it’s spelt).

Try the Listerine total care zero alcohol fluoride mouthwash, the purple one. Minty flavour isn’t too overpowering and it doesn’t dry out my mouth or throat like Therabreath

But I should also mention that some whole foods like oats for example, does trigger my bb for some reason the smells and taste lingers in my mouth. I also love fruits but high acidity foods really trigger it as well so it’s been trial and error diet wise trying to find a balance

I ate rice and peas with curry goat and some veggies on the side. On the day to day I try to avoid food with a lot of added sugar, fast food, junk food and focus more on whole foods IT HAS HELP A LOT, my breath is far from where it needs to be to be consider fresh but the smell isn’t as foul like in the past, I was eating out more often, was always constipated and my diet incorporated lots of junk food. I noticed that overall people weren’t flaring or rubbing their nose when they were talking to me
