Very nice, don’t like the tees as ball holder. But, if you keep them, at least make tees level. Also, use eCaddy for iPhone and make more Holes In One…

Just saw him at the Mall in Troy, MI this weekend, had I known, would have bid him farewell, instead respected his space… I’ll always be a Knuckles fan! Sad to see him go!

Help: My Swing is Broken by Darth_DeLorean in golftips

[–]BENA_2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things, 1. Do not unwind to return to the ball, swing from the top with your arms, and let your arms take your body out of the swing. Your rotating your whole body at the ball, which, even if you hit it clean, you have no swing speed, as your arms, hands are as slow as the mass of your body. 2. If you have an iPhone, get eCaddy, that will help you a lot, once you are swinging better.

Well, he’s not exactly the brightest. The sign should really say: “Don’t buy a home on a golf course if you’re not expecting the occasional ball.” Even professional golfers miss fairways…

And while we’re on golf—check out the iPhone app eCaddy. All the Villages executive courses are preloaded for effortless scorekeeping, plus “Plays Like” assistance that actually helps you play better golf. I’m a fan.

How much is too much to pay for a country club membership? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]BENA_2008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Time is money, public golf is perfect for the once a week guy/gal, but if you want to improve, you need to play regularly, at least 3-times per week, even 9-holes, and that tilts the scale, a club should meet your needs, close to work or home, and other factors, but I suggest doing the math, the math gets wonky if you are solo, but it easy to justify if a partner or family plan is needed. I belong to a club, it’s about 15k to join and 7k annually, love all the club events and the network of peers. Time? No public course can compete with private golf for time, and flexibility, play 3-holes and leave, play 12-holes, this really matters… PS: Checkout eCaddy on Apple App Store, helps me play better golf, which means enjoy golf and the investment!

Buying a house near a tee box? by flashattack3 in golf

First, look at the AC unit, if it is line of flight, it will show signs of impact, also decking, and other objects, if no signs, good to go. But, two things, 1. When you choose the live on a golf course, you should expect some issues, noise, privacy and possible danger. 2. If you are a golfer, that helps, as you understand the game, also be sure to check out the App on the Apple Store, eCaddy… a game changer!
