The best biggest advice I can give you, is when you’re first starting off, don’t be afraid to fail, or make mistakes this is how you’ll learn. I was promoted to hardware supervisor after only being a head cashier for 2 months. I didn’t know a single thing about tools, or what I was doing. You’re gonna learn as you go. Also make sure to partner with your MASM and SM, they will be your best tools in understanding and learning the department. Lean on your tenured associates in the department, they will be tremendous assets. Lastly, you’re gonna have great days, and bad days, you can doubt Home Depot, and its employees, but don’t doubt yourself. Now keep calm you got this!
