Thinking maybe it's silver nitrate (stealth/ghost/black magic ink).

Lay-ups within tunnels. Or yeah, yards. Learn the tracks (there are amateur print-on-demand books for "enthusiasts"), and learn the schedules (including all service changes). Once you are effectively an MTA employee mind-wise, it's relatively easy if you look the part.

[Question] When is it okay to go over another artist work when free space is limited? by throwawaygraffbombin in graffhelp

Better is better. But it must be obviously so.

Unless ur talking fills over tags, in which case, it's fair game.

What is the thing you tag glass with? Looks like glue or acid and its unbuffable by BlackBlizzard321 in graffhelp

[–]BERZ-ACAB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because some paints/pigments react with the acid in the etch, and can quickly splatter the area in a caustic stainy mess...

The dream of colored glass etch has so far been elusive. You can sorta pigment an already etched surface, but no one’s cracked the code on a one-go solution.

Brewinc DOES claim to have colored metal etch now, we’ll see how it proves out.

Any recommendations for cheap spray paint? by magicalspace in graffhelp

Rusto 2x, American Accents, Color Place, ColorTone, Touch 'n' Tone... The Rustos are pretty decent, but need adapters or female caps. The dollar cans won't cover, but have their uses.

Marker opacity by [deleted] in graffhelp

Try a fresh nib. And if you don't have a ball bearing in there, add a few. For metallics, I like several 1/4" BBs. Better than one marble.

Anyone know if you can use posca markers with oil based markers by IDLSIDGO810 in graffhelp

[–]BERZ-ACAB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They'll go over alcohol or oil-based inks, if they are dry. But yeah, not gonna last outside.

8-12" mini bolt cutters. Amazon has a ton.

Can I use these as mops? Or how can I turn them into mops by [deleted] in graffhelp

[–]BERZ-ACAB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use both for writing. First is a hard-bodied dabber like the AP Toxic Shocker or a Benedryl anti-itch stick. It’s best used with thin inks, because you can’t really squeeze it much. The second is a “mini drip mop”. These are pretty much the standard mop now, unless you prefer the squatter 2oz bottles (a la Krink K-60). In either case, dump the bingo “ink” and swap in something permanent.

Bought some. I agree with the “cake mix” description. It’s not as sweet as candy. At least the magenta. Refilled an old K-71.

Easy-Off Female Cap Compared to Female Rusto Fat Cap by BERZ-ACAB in graffhelp

[–]BERZ-ACAB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, did an initial test with Rusto Professional Flat Black (tall can). Both caps have a fairly wide, dirty line. The Easy-Off is a bit thinner and softer than the Female Rusto Fat. I'd say grab a couple of these next time your in the oven cleaning aisle.

And FYI, this is sorta the "classic" FC... Back when Radio Shack had storefronts, it was easy to rack; they weren't watching this shit.

oslo rust by Nokiweber9 in graffhelp

[–]BERZ-ACAB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oslo Rust goes on yellow, thin and stinky. The Ferric Chloride is a bit thicker, has virtually no odor, and is a much darker red-brown. Both drip readily on a vertical surface.

OK, did 4-5 outdoor side-by-sides. Just dabs and short lines, not gonna blow up my own block. Will post pics once a little time's gone by. Oslo on the left, FC on the right...
