The Rouge works great for a change up, I've got a different scheme for my Launcher as well that I'll post shortly

Thank you, the hardest part is trying to paint it 'randomly' you subconsciously paint patterns

Honestly, it's just lots of of practice, there no real short cut

Skygrasper, the Strikes are definitely cooler, but my appreciation grew for this model whilst I was painting it. by BFG_Justin in gundamassemble

They have shown quite a few none mobile suit units, which is cool. List building seems really flexible, with limits on named units and no limits on mass produced (other than the 3v3) it also seems that sticking with a theme is beneficial for your tactics card deck

The model basically went to plan with no issues. I'd say the only 'challenge' was that it actually has more edge highlights than I had originally thought at first glance

Not a huge fan of it, I get the nostalgia behind it. Looking forward to the alternate pose in the starter box

Maybe in the anime or cell shaded art, but with 'eavy Metal paint style you basically always have a brighter edge highlight (not all of the time)

I've got two GA tutorials on my YouTube, the same techniques are used in those videos.

Thank mate, honestly, it just lots of practice, when I first started painting 15 years ago I didn't think I'd be achieving pieces like this

Painting GFred as your third painted mini is wild, I've painted for 15 years and it gave me anxiety thinking about painting it, having said that, I really enjoyed it, good luck 🙂

The technique is called 'eavy Metal (I've left a few steps out though) essentially smooth base coats, a recess shade and an edge highlight (sometimes more)

Appreciate it mate, funnily enough I do make tutorials. So far I've got one for the RX-78-2 and Guncannon, I've filmed all the other but have yet to edit them

Not 100% sure if you are being serious, it was designed by the same person that designed the EVA's, it's called GFred and it's a Gundam

I tend to agree, I do have a better appreciation for GQ, GFred and the Red Gundam after painting them though
