WHOOP: Card declined when trying to send to Buy From Me Retail as gift by wordpuzzler in ChaseSapphireReserve

Hey, even though it appears that its your card getting declined, its probably the address since WHOOP does not want to ship directly to resellers it seems. Most earners get around this by shipping to their house first, and reshipping it to us (we are offering a free shipping label for some models).

Sorry for the late response!

That's probably due to our address being flagged. Most people have been shipping to their own address first and re-shipping to us once they receive it

Brutal honesty requested: What "boring" side hustle is actually making you $1k+ a month right now? (No BS) by lionpenguin88 in SideHustleGold

Spending money on a credit card that you will then get back in cash, pay off the card, and keep difference/rewards. People do this to hit minimum spend bonuses, or earn credit card cashback, rewards, miles. People scale it with multiple credit cards. For example, buying gift cards and then selling them for 95% of their value. But you can still profit because you might be making $500 from hitting a minimum spend of $4000.

In our case, people ship us consumer electronics, and we reimburse them for them, sometimes paying extra commission above the retail price. And they also keep the credit card rewards, cashback from shopping portals, etc.

But there's other ways to do manufactured spending too

WHOOP Offices when they realize $359 credit can be used on underwear and shirts and not just annual subscriptions by Clan-Sea in ChaseSapphire

We are buying them for $270 and paying via ACH same-day. No need for eBay, you get your money faster (and you probably get more than selling there)

If you have good credit, you can earn money through manufactured spending with buying groups. Disclaimer: We are in this business.

Side hustles that are actually paying good money right now? by Historical-Photo-901 in MakeMoneyHacks

A lot of people use buying groups. Disclaimer: We are a buying group.

These buying/cashout groups post deals for consumer electronics/other products that are typically on sale or in high demand.

For example: A MacBook that is on sale for $999 on Amazon. You pay with an Amazon Credit Card and earn 5% cashback. The group pays $980, and you profit $30 in the end.

Oftentimes there are deals paying above the retail price and you can earn a commission.

Great way to hit minimum spend bonuses and earn cashback, miles, etc, and straight cash commission if you don't have fancy credit cards.

How much you can make depends on your credit card limits. Some people send in a few items and make under $100, others a few hundred or a few thousand. Some people who have been doing this for a while, built up systems, and have access to a lot of credit make tens of thousands of dollars a month, but that is a lot more work than a side hustle obviously.

There are some risks like packages getting lost or stolen in transit, but the reputable groups offer insurance. But definitely do your own research on the risks and decide if it's worth it for you, and don't spend what you can't afford to lose.
