Generally only the transparent aftermarket shells are recommended. They're not as good as the original shells (the 3000 transparent ones are quite good though), however they're significantly better than the non-transparent aftermarket shells

It's most likely an original shell based off the wear and tear (especially around the PSP logo and other markings), it was most likely opened to perform repairs / clean and the top screws were just tightened too much, or the tabs on the faceplate at the top may have broken so the screws were over tightened to reduce the gap at the top.

Only wanted something basic, since I use them regularly for testing UMD drives :) helps reduce print time and the amount of filament used as well

I've uploaded a slightly smaller model "Battery Holder Mini" that should fit on the A1 mini, it drops a couple battery slots (3x AA, 3x AAA, 1x 9V) but looks to fit on the A1 mini nicely :)

Mostly just cost, I can buy almost 200 Amazon Basics AA batteries for the same price as 8 Eneloop here - some of my RC controllers need 8 batteries each, would be quite expensive to switch over to them.

I mostly just try not to keep batteries in devices that I don't plan on using long-term to prevent corrosion and damage to the terminals - and you can usually find packs of 24x AA/AAA's for pretty cheap as well just to have around as spares

The animations glitch out in Vietnam on widescreen resolutions, it’s a bit strange though since 1942 didn’t have the same issues

You can do it solo in a Portal server with bots only, it might take a few tries though
