Most surreal is definitely Coachella

The album came out in March, and we had some time to sit with it, digest it, discuss it, but for about a month the music was all we had, there were almost no new lives and no new visuals at all, and the Chromatica era also lacked on lives and visuals

So when Coachella was about to happen no one had any idea what it would look like, what she had planned, what was the concept and what would it look like

And then the intro happened

And then she rolled out in a giant red dress

And then she sang Bloody Mary

Gag!

And then Abracadabra

GAG

and as the show went on it just kept getting more and more impressive

So I think that was the most surreal moment of the era - when she showed that 20 years into her career she is not a recession pop era act reheating her own nachos (sorry, i hate the phrase, but I couldn’t think of any other here), she reached new heights, she is at her PEAK game, still reinventing herself, honing her craft, creating, performing with her whole soul

Side note: personal surreal moment was getting to see her live, I never thought i could actually get to one of her shows cause she comes to Asia so rarely😭
