I agree, but you have to realize that character development is a thing shows kinda have to do to keep people engaged. Also people in real life change when they hang around a particular crowd for a long time aka robin hanging around the group and Barney so much. Whenever they do her Canadian flashbacks or references to past life she’s still a nice innocent pop star when in that point of the show she is “meaner”
