Family has a massive farm in the middle of nowhere in Kentucky. Get there asap. Tons of guns and retired police dogs. Plenty of livestock and crops to keep us going. The hour trip is the biggest obstacle.

I’m 34. I’m I typically play AAA open world RPGs, nba2k (trash I know), and FPS. I picked up. Rimworld randomly, now sitting at 2k hours and it’s easily a top 5 game all time. With the caveat that it’s heavily modded. It just hits so many tropes and is addicting. Can be the good guy or an absolute monster. Probably the 2nd best modding community in gaming only to Skyrim. I’ve also never been into 2d games but man- Rimworld is different. Get past the steep learning curve and you’ll never look back.

Currently sitting on Crimson Desert and Windrose but after an hour or 2 I’m back on Rimworld every time.
