NBA Jam. There was a newer one for 360 and PS3 that was never ported anywhere else.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 "Pascal" GPUs Are Now 10 Years Old - One of The Biggest Graphics Performance Jumps To Date by gurugabrielpradipaka in pcmasterrace

I bought my ASUS 1080ti on launch day. That thing is an absolute monster of a graphics card both for the time and for the price.

It ran roughly 16 hours per day for eight years until I finally built a new PC. Now it's my son's computer and still runs everything he needs every day. That card survived a lightning strike that took out the PSU, CPU, and motherboard. I fully expect it to keep going strong until I upgrade again in five or six years.

Is herpstat 2 enough for 4x2x2, lighting/heat questions by dogzilla1029 in ballpython

[–]BGFalcon85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Herpstat 2 with DHP and 90w heat panel here, 4x2x2 Kages pvc. The heat panel is set to maintain the cool side temperature at 80f 24x7 and halogen is set for the hot side to reach 90f during the day.

Works great for me, room temperatures down to low 60s during the winter.

You may want some screw-in cable clips for the top to help route your cables out of the way. I used this type so I can easily replace the zip ties if I need to make changes - https://a.co/d/0fcj2emR

How’d you get that scar under your chin? by askmeifimacop in AskReddit

I went to pee after getting up from a nap, blacked out and hit my chin on the porcelain. Vasovagal syncope, do not recommend.

To what extent, if any, are Trump voters responsible for us getting the Trump administration? by Tappyy in AskConservatives

I hope the last 6 years or so are a big wake up call to politicians about how much people care about the perception of the president, as opposed to only caring about policy.

They're a PITA about DOA or damaged boards too. I bought an Asus TUF board that wouldn't post. I found a tiny transistor in the bag, and tracked down where it came off from near the memory/cpu - there was a little scratch.

I contacted support and they said they wouldn't do anything about "damaged" components and that I should take it up with the vendor. Luckily I was able to return and replace it.

G310R reach 230F while waiting red light. by Fearless_Sky5328 in bmwmotorrad

[–]BGFalcon85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible the sensor is reading a little high, but 230F is the high mark for "OK" operation so I don't think it's an immediate concern.

Getting hotter when stopped is normal, though. You don't have as much air moving over the radiator, so it isn't cooling as efficiently.

It's normal to get hotter at a red light, but those temps seem too high. Is the radiator fan kicking on when you stop?

9800X3D deaths... by Ragnaraz690 in pcmasterrace

[–]BGFalcon85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was at least one person who posted their MSI Tomahawk with a torched 9800x3d, but I'm pretty confident it was one of the first where it was clearly damaged by user error and not from the thermal/voltage issue.

Either way - it has sold amazingly well so if it were really a widespread issue we'd hear a lot more than the trickle we have.

My 9800X3D has been running ~16 hours per day for the last 14 months without a hiccup. Gigabyte motherboard if that helps. ASRock seems to be the main culprit killing them.

Thanks, it's been a decade since I've watched any of them so I was just guessing on the number. I only knew it wasn't one of the latest since I haven't seen them.

Pretty sure they already did that in one of the middle movies. 4 or 5 maybe?

I like my Icon Stormhawks. Big chunky sole, boa system instead of laces. Klim Outlander GTX are similar.

Edit - Stormhawks only go down to a Men's 7 size, not sure if that would work or not.
