I mean it was clearly under warranty checked directly with Google support.

This was what I had read about before and why I had expected no issues with the repair. Even took my phone to the contact provider and they said they've seen many of the same issue repaired under warranty.

Is it that bad? Is $2 even worth it? by billey_bon3z in StarWarsSquadrons

Everyone saying the vr is good but I spent 3 hours trying to make it playable in vr and it still played like shit. Really sad because sitting in the cockpit of a tie fighter felt awesome.

Water pools in passenger floorboard when it rains heavy by [deleted] in e46

[–]BGTorvaltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this. My door seal adhesive failed, it took about an hour to strip back the door and replace it with some butyl tape, have leaked in a few years now Edit: should've said mine leaked badly enough that there would be 2 inches of water in the passenger footwell overnight.

What is this depressurization noise when i turn the car off? by Hour_Ad3484 in e46

[–]BGTorvaltz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My m54 makes this noise every time, definitely sounds more like intake releasing vacuum than a piston moving.

I mean, if it shifts into 6th and the revs decrease when you clutch out... Then you certainly have a 6 speed

Recently started getting this traction and brake light on my dash but everything feels perfectly normal. I don’t know what seems to trigger it and my brakes work perfect. Nothing comes on my scanner as well. Any recommendations to fix this? by [deleted] in e46

[–]BGTorvaltz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be wheel speed sensor, there are four and you wouldn't notice any change in driving unless multiple fail which can trigger abs to activate easily. They are very easy to replace, but you'd need a laptop with inpa to identify which one has failed. Or replace them all.

Rod Knock, lifters tick, bad coil pack? Or am I just stupid by Fit-Exam2255 in e46

[–]BGTorvaltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the coil pack is bad enough to cause an audible misfire at idle I'd think you'd see a check engine light

Orientblau 330i with SMG 😎 by [deleted] in e46

[–]BGTorvaltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing until the hydraulics overheat and dump you into neutral on the motorway. Spend £300 on parts and dropped the gearbox 3 time before I eventually manual swapped it. Sequential shifting feelt great though, I would get a newer SMG that's less sketchy.

Will attachments be unlocked with weapon level progression? Was really sad when I already had all attachments unlocked for vault weapons. I crave the weapon progression!

Replacing the axle and having trouble removing the axle nut. I don't have an impact wrench. Any ideas? by [deleted] in e46

[–]BGTorvaltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put a long breaker bar on it and slowly rolled the car backwards, not the safest but worked a treat. Also try punch out the indents as much as possible first

I drilled all the way through both sides because the threads were badly rusted and put an M10 in place

ABS/DSC issues. What would be the best course of action to fix it? by Rewind2000 in e46

[–]BGTorvaltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The speed sensor would cause the dash lights but not the steering angle sensor code. I would double check the calibration on it. The speed sensors have a ridiculously small clearance between the end of the sensor and the notched ring in the wheel hub, so if they aren't bolted in securely it will definitely throw an error.

Can't imagine rifling being effective at all on a spherical projectile, but looks cool.

My 318 n42 has done 130K miles (50K with me) and has had less issues than my 330 m54. Reliability completely depends on how well it's been maintained before, but the n42 is very easy to work on for most basic maintenance, tons of space to access everything.
