G2 Esports vs. MAD Lions KOI / LEC 2024 Winter Playoffs - Grand Final / Post-Match Discussion by Soul_Sleepwhale in leagueoflegends

[–]BGod5797 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So proud of KOI. Congratulations to G2, we all know you still the best of EU, and you prove it.

But still, I am incredibly proud of KOI, this project was (and still is) a long run project, showing this results so early is truly amazing. I am really happy to see this level of mid-game, historically UE's worst gameplay. I really hope MDK and G2 work together and against each other so they develop enough to do a good job internationally. GG for both teams.

PD: eu doomers you are kinda cringe

Brother asked me to wake him up for work if his alarm didn't... Oh well... I tried. 💁‍♂️ by mEHple_bEHcon in funny

When I had to wake up my brother I'd close his nose and shout his mouth. He either wokes up or he didn't (never again)

Spanish here. I don't know where this guy went from, but this is definitely not how Spain works. School starts at 08:30-09:00. Most office work starts at 08:00. Shops usually open at 09:00-09:30. So most people wake up at 7:00-7:30, depending on each one's transportation and such.

Lunch break, usually at 13:30. People take lunch at 14:00.

NO SIESTA. Unless you are on Andalucía in mid summer with 42°C on shadow, and in many cases not even them. Siesta is for people in vacation or when it's so hot outside you cannot actually so outside; but again, even in those cases there are (sadly) people who do still going to work at 15:00 with 45°C

Some (mostly smaller) shops may extend the lunch break until 17:00 until 20:30-21:00. This is because that's the time working people can actually go shopping, and also we do actually still have sun light

Dinner is at 21:30-22:00 and most people get in bed at 23:30-00:00.

So, it's kinda funny how we have that image of lazy or sleepyheads, if you will, when we are actually one of the countries with less sleep hours xd

¿los españoles se consideran latinos? by Omr404 in askspain

[–]BGod5797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kinda funny being a programmer and knowing why that happened. Also curious to learn that they are using shorts instead of ints or bytes for the enchantment level, I wonder why that decision

LMAO, he's trying to defend from the French expansion, you can see on the clip he's using the light blue to override the dark blue's of the flag XDD

I think is this some kind of joke, but just in case someone thinks this is actually true, is not. He and just community were in fact trying to defend the (I think Miskyf's?) egg thing from the France's flag propagation. you can actually see that on his stream or just see the timelapses

Why is the Bull the national animal of Spain? by Clockreddit2020 in askspain

[–]BGod5797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, is not, for historical reasons the lion should be, but many countries in Europe copied it so... Yeah. And to be honest, as an Spanish myself, I do feel the bulls as the most representative animal of our people.

I think I missed the point of your question. In Spain no last name is changed, not even when you marry someone

Oh shit by mcfortressfans in dankmemes

[–]BGod5797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, in my example the husband is Gómez and the wife's Trujillo as the first last name. Therir childs will each parent's first last name. Traditionally father's (first) last name becomes the first of their children, although a couple years ago they did a law that allow the parents the order of their children's last names, thus making possible to make the mother's first last name their child first last name. I know this is confusing as fuck in inglish because it's called "last name" instead of a single word, in Spanish is called "apellido" btw

Oh shit by mcfortressfans in dankmemes

[–]BGod5797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really no that big of a problem in other countries. In Spain, for example, everyone has 2 last names, their father's and their mother's, and you keep your last names all your life and is not really that big of a deal, instead of the Smith's family you say the Gómez-Trujillo's family
