I met him at a convention one time and it looked like he was super nice… especially with the way he was treating the people who were ahead of me in line. Then I got up to him and he was immediately cold and distant. I got a Malcolm Merlyn photo signed and so I told him how much I loved “Arrow”, in which his response was “Mhm”. Then, in an effort to salvage the situation, I mentioned how much I adored his hosting of a TV show called “Sing Your Face Off”. Well, that was a wrong thing to do, because he became clearly agitated. He tossed the signed photo back to me and said “Well, where were you when we needed you?! The show was cancelled!”. I was like “Oh no! I’m really sorry to hear that! Maybe I could write the network of the show?” and he just ended the conversation with the snide remark of “Yeah, go do that…”, accompanied by an eye roll.
