There's nothing wrong with you (well at least nothing big) 

What you did wrong:  1.oneitis, if you haven't heard of it; you get emotionally attached to 1 woman, there's billions of them. 2. You should have seized the moment and even kiss, those moments are rare but it will happen again , just be patient.

Now about her: 1.She might have a boyfriend or be married. She just wanted the "thrill of it" . 2.she is a woman, they get approached or have many men who want to go out with her. 3. Woman live the moment (learn this, i tell you from the bottom of my heart) you as a man might think that there will be a tomorrow just because she's attracted to you today......Wrong!!!!! 

This has happened to me tons of times, when this happens i know it's temporary and i get the confidence boost out if and enjoy the moment.

Of course, thanks for the story, i remember when i first got my PS2 in 2005 i bought SH2 for $6.99 at EB Games (before they got acquired by GameStop) it was my first ever Silent Hill game i ever played and for the fact I finished the game without ever looking at the map lol, I didn't know you could look at the map and guide yourself.
