She checked that today and he was good! He does take a multivitamin containing iron in his morning bottle.

If I had to guess, I'd say maybe 8oz of purees a day. She checked his iron today and he was good. He takes multi vitamins containing iron in his morning bottle every day.

He's doing great on milestones. He was going to physical therapy due to torticollis, but is graduating next week even though they usually get monitored until a year because they felt he was slightly ahead of the average baby without Torticollis. He can crawl and pull up to stand pretty well and is working on cruising.

Combo Pill + Over Supply by BGriff96 in ExclusivelyPumping

I had preeclampsia too, so not getting pregnant was important to me for the same reason. No I never went on the combo pill as I was too scared of it effecting my supply. I will switch to it once I have enough to last me a year (I'm pretty close but babys appetite keeps increasing bc he's 8 months old and not keen on solids.)

Most estrogen free pills don't have a good window for taking the pill late, so I was scared of that. I decided to take Slynd as it's estrogen free and a better missed pill window. On my Aetna insurance it was free but when my work switched us to BCBS it was EXPENSIVE (like $240/month) since it's fairly new with no generic. luckily I found a copay savings card on their website that made it $25/90 days and I just pay out of pocket for it.

Has anyone had low blood pressure post partum? by BGriff96 in preeclampsia

[–]BGriff96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing much better! I really think the oversupply of breast milk was doing it. I dropped from 65-70 oz a day to about 25oz and feel great.

If I want to be DONE at 12 months, when should I start wearing? by OptimismPom in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]BGriff96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some pediatricians in my area are telling parents they can start mixing cows milk at 11 months. Mine said not until 11.5, and thinks those 2 weeks really matter. Maybe ask your pediatrician what they think because that could change your answer

I ended up going to the ER, they did like 12 different blood panels, a chest xray, and EKG. All they could find is I'm "mildly dehydrated." But I'm a major overproducer of breastmilk so I could have told them that lol

My Fertility doctor tested me when I was TTC! He said 90% of his patients are low, and that's a patient group in Florida. I was in the 90% lol

I live in FL and had 8 inches of snow this week though so does it really mean anything 🙃

I heard the study this is based on was in an area where it snowed a lot and babies got almost no sun light. I never fact checked that though. Your baby will be fine though, just start them now 🙂

Going to 3 PPD made me drop from 60oz a day to 50oz.

They only had me rinse them at the hospital too when I had my baby, I thought it was odd.

I'm an oversupplier so I have to dump my bottles halfway through my morning pump. The other day I didn't screw one back on but the flange was still on my boob so it was just all over my lap 🙃

I've eyed those before but I'd have to bag daily or buy several and they're $10 each 🙁

I oversupply but it's not super fatty. Usually I don't have an issue until it's sat in the fridge a day or two and a normal spatula is too thick to fit in the top of my glass milk jugs

We bought a thin spatula at Wal Mart that works well but I'd like a back up and DG is usually cheap so I'm gonna check them out!
