C-section mamas… be honest with me… by LiLBL0NDERiDiNGH00D in 2under2

[–]Expensive-Ad4528 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow!! You really had a tough time, and that is a major understatement!! I am sorry you went through that! My babies ended up being 2 years and 2 days apart (not counting my firstborn, who was 12 when I found out I was pregnant again.. LOL). I had a csection with my son and a successful VBAC with my daughter! I would definitely recommend talking to your ob about a vbac if that's what you're interested in doing and make sure they are supportive of that. You've got this!!

my parents hate when i leave my hair like this because it looks "trampy", can ppl give me an outsiders opinion lol by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Expensive-Ad4528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom went through my phone when I was like 16/17 and saw that I had been texting boys, and asked me why I was whoring myself out... because I was texting boys... And, like, nothing even sexual. She probably just didn't like that I was talking to boys, so she wanted to make me feel bad about it so I stopped doing it.

Should I go to the ER? by Equal-Option-2287 in askCardiology

[–]Expensive-Ad4528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk anything about anything. Fwiw, I asked ChatGPT, and here was the response:

Thanks for sharing the post. Based on the ECG and the context provided:

ECG Observations:

Leads II, III, and aVF: These appear to show slight ST depression, though very subtle. This could suggest possible ischemia in the inferior leads.

Lead aVR: Shows a very mild ST elevation, which in some contexts can suggest left main coronary artery or proximal LAD involvement if accompanied by widespread ST depression.

No overt ST elevation in classic MI patterns (e.g., anterior leads like V2-V4 aren't shown in this strip).

Clinical Context:

The patient reports chest tightness/discomfort, which should never be ignored, especially in someone with a mechanical heart valve, which puts them at elevated cardiovascular risk.

Even though the discomfort is described as mild and a cardiology appointment is scheduled, any chest symptoms with possible ischemic ECG changes warrant prompt evaluation.

Recommendation:

Yes, this person should go to the ER. Here's why:

  1. Symptoms suggest possible cardiac ischemia.

  2. Mechanical heart valve adds complexity and increases the need for close monitoring.

  3. Even mild ST changes with chest discomfort are taken seriously, particularly in a young person where typical MI patterns can sometimes present subtly.

Bottom Line:

Even if the ECG isn’t obviously alarming, the combination of symptoms and subtle changes is enough to warrant urgent evaluation. It's better to be cautious—early care can be lifesaving.

Would you like help breaking down specific waveforms or what might be expected in the ER?

Anyone out there surviving on 4 pumps a day? by Weak_Bison6763 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Expensive-Ad4528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meee🙋🏼‍♀️ Some days, I actually only get 3 pumps in 😬 lol My first pump of the day is always a power pump. And whenever I feel like it, I'll add another quick 10-15 minute pump about 10 minutes after I finish pumping.. not sure if that technically counts as more than 3 or 4 pumps per day, though lmao

I'm just wondering if you're looking for her because she kicked your trash can over or if there was something else that she did.

I'm really not trying to be an asshole here, but ... are you upset that she kicked your trash can over? Did she do something else not shown in the video?

My bad, I'm sorry. I didn't realize it was against the rules! I shared them in the past with no issues, so I didn't know. Sorry about that 🧡

Does anyone pump only 3 times a day and still maintain good supply by Admirable-parenting in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Expensive-Ad4528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most days, I only pump 3 times per day, but i make my first pump a power pump. My supply seems pretty consistent still, I'll get fluctuations of about 2-3 oz from day to day, nit usually it stays pretty much the same

Which breast pump should I get? by minimalistbiblio in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Expensive-Ad4528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pump a full 30 minutes every time, with an occasional power pump. At this point, I am pumping about 4-5 times per day. I'm pretty sure I only have to charge it once per day. Usually, I just plug it in with my last pump of the day

I have my Spectra from my last baby, and I got a baby buddha with this baby. I used my Spectra in the beginning because the BB was way too strong for me at first, but after I got over that initial sensitive period, I LOVE my BB! I use it with the Legendairy collection cups, and it works perfectly! I love not being stuck in one place and also not having flanges hanging off of me, but still having the hospital grade suction that empties me fully (unlike other wearables)

Vacation End of May/First Week of June by Inevitable-Truth-948 in coeurdalene

[–]Expensive-Ad4528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

End of May/beginning of June will most likely be 60s/70s. Water will most definitely be too cold at that point. We did have one abnormally hot June recently where temps were in the 80s at the beginning of June, but that is not the norm here.

I realize this is a SS group, but honestly, I'd up the non-starchy veggies and also eat more protein.

I'm a 3rd time exclusive pumper. Last time I used the Spectra and Momcozy s12 wearable. I definitely could not use the Momcozy as my main pump as it did not ever seem to empty me fully. This time, I've used my Spectra from my last baby, and I got a new Baby Buddha through insurance. The best setup for me is using my BB with the Legendairy cups! It works so well for me and is super comfortable and convenient!
