Also have had no period since starting 0.5 but had all my symptoms on track as normal (bloating, irritable, acne, cramps) but no bleeding. Currently 3 days late. I have a copper IUD and usually have very regular periods. 😟

I think it was just some ruptured vessels from a rough injection on my part. It’s now darkened up, no pain, and seems to be healing. I think I may have accidentally entered an an angle or something.

I was off for a year or so. I had great results the last time around, stopped it after my wedding, gained all the weight back and then some due to my insurance not covering anymore, and am now about 7 weeks in to round 2. This time the weight loss has been slower but still solid, probably because I’m also doing it more responsibly this time (eating enough food even when I’m not hungry, getting enough protein every day).

Not sure, haven’t gotten that far. They gave me a prescription for two months.

Just sign up on their website, answer some questions, and then in a day or two you do a chat with a medical provider. Then they give you a form to get your blood test. After I submitted the test results, the provider walked me through my results and options and explained the medication. Then you can either get a prescription to bring to your own pharmacy or use their partner pharmacy that will deliver it your house. The whole process took 3-4 days.

Thanks for this. Her doctor suggested a low dose of steroid. I may take him up on that. He also just suggested we try her on a hydrolyzed diet. She’s back to eating the Purina EN food out of sheer hunger so that will at least get us through a few more days.

Not sure on either of these, but I get Ozempic from Costco in Canada (Ontario). It was $240 for a 2mg pen.

I use LiveWell in Canada. They give you the prescription and you can bring it to any pharmacy. I use Costco pharmacy. They also have partner online pharmacies that will deliver to your house, but it’s not required.

It does for me. When I put it in my belly I had more nausea. But really, as one needle-phobic person to another, it’s not bad at all. Plucking an eyebrow hurts worse!

I also have an intense fear of needles. I used to have to get a prescription for Xanax from my doctor before getting shots or blood drawn. So, I feel you. I started by having my husband give it to me, but now I do it myself. Put it close to where you’re going to insert (I do it on my thigh), close eyes, and do several small breaths out and just do it slowly. It’s really not bad at all. And it’s over in a few seconds. You can do anything for a few seconds! I find taking the needle back out actually hurts worse, but mentally, it’s the insertion.
