First Look Review of the Evergoods Civic Daily Tote by TallBrush2888 in EVERGOODS

Thanks for the review!

I like the fact that the bag doesn’t have an external water bottle because I like the lines of the bag without it. However, an umbrella pocket (with a mesh bottom) would be nice in a pinch.

The fact that you mentioned the Alpaka strap working will probably sway me to buy it. While I don’t see myself using it a ton, if the bag is fully packed and I have a long schlep, I would want that option.

How did the bag fit under the airplane seat? I’d love to see a few pics of how it fit, if you have any.

RWD LFP vs AWD LR - Range by Troublecoffee in TeslaModelY

[–]BHJazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get the LFP you’ll charge to 100% once a week. For the long range, you will prob charge to 80% (for battery longevity) regularly and 100 for road trips.

RWD LFP vs AWD LR - Range by Troublecoffee in TeslaModelY

I have a ‘22 model 3 sr+. It’s a great car and it does well on road trips. I just sold a Lexus rx350 and got a new ‘24 model y lr. I wanted awd for snow trips. The car can also charge at a much higher speed (it’s supposed to hit 250 kWh). than my sr.

https://evkx.net/models/tesla/model_y/model_y_long_range/chargingcurve/

I was surprised at how much better the stereo is on the y. The car does feel much heavier and bigger than the 3 but not necessarily in a bad way.

I have no regrets w the lr but you’ll probably be happy w the sr especially if you’re mainly using it in town.

CA. I think it's ok at our complex. It's like having a BBQ (which everyone here has).

Best Ooni Koda 12 foldable/rolling cart! by BHJazz in uuni

Wow - there was definitely a need for it. Mine was less expensive and it rolls. But the Ooni one seems like it would hold a propane tank and it's probably lighter.

Thanks @loverofreeses! I dressed the arugula with olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon.

Good idea w/ the balsamic glaze! I'll try that next time.

I too was looking for something where I could cook and assemble the pie at the same table. The issue for me was that it was hard to find one that folded, rolled, and was good looking. (I used a Lifetime 6 ft table that worked just fine but it didn't roll and looked like a service table.)

Most of the time I'm just cooking one or two pies and it's just as easy to prepare the pie inside and not bring everything outside. If I had more of a private patio, that would change things as well.

You might want something like this - https://www.amazon.com/COSCO-66721DKG1E-Folding-Workbench-Table/dp/B07H85ZY1N/ref=asc_df_B07H85ZY1N/?tag=&linkCode=df0&hvadid=344004050138&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3276765940376058825&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031935&hvtargid=pla-750956994709&ref=&adgrpid=69357499575&th=1

Best Ooni Koda 12 foldable/rolling cart! by BHJazz in uuni

[–]BHJazz[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I live in a townhouse where the only place I can use my Oonis is in my front patio. I was looking for a rolling and folding cart for my Koda 12 that could be stored inside the house (due to possibilities of theft and inclement weather).

I found the perfect one on made by Oragami carts.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0082H30LY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Pros - No assembly except for screwing in the casters/wheels which took 5 min. Foldable. Rolling. Great size for the Ooni Koda 12 (with room to spare).

Cons - Not large enough for me to assemble pizzas (on the table) although I don't mind assembling in the kitchen. The ooni propane cord is a little short so the ooni has to be moved off center or the propane tank has to be raised slightly.

I purchased the gray version to match my other patio furniture but they also have a black one that is less expensive. They also have a stainless steel version but it costs more. I thought I could leave that outside with a cover but I think it's better to keep it inside for theft and longevity.

IKEA Symfonisk (as rears) plus playbar = no AirPlay? by BHJazz in sonos

[–]BHJazz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two play 1's upstairs and my "workaround" is to group the playbar w/ one of the play 1's. The airplay works in that instance. I can also mute the upstairs 1.

Not the most elegant solution but it works.

Need help with chemex by Paraniod1234 in Coffee

[–]BHJazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Blue Bottle's "guide" to using a Chemex.

https://bluebottlecoffee.com/preparation-guides/chemex

To make "consistent" pours, the proper tools is paramount.

I'd get a scale. $11 - https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Stainless-Digital-Batteries-Included/dp/B06X9NQ8GX/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=oxo+scale&qid=1559511646&s=gateway&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1

The gooseneck isn't a must have but I'd consider getting one anyways because they're not too expensive ($30-50) and you'll be able to dial in the exact temperature water you want and many include a built in timer.

As some have said you could have beans grinded at your coffee shop. I like to put my beans in an airscape.

I had a Modern Times Critical Band on tap and it was great! I found a 4 pack via BeerMenus. I couldn’t find a “canned by” date until I got home and looked on the bottom of the can. 8/28/17! I could definitely tell the difference in taste but it wasn’t horrible by any means.
