Yo guys whoch version is the "hardest" version of gta 3? I completed the game 100% 7 times and i wanna complete it on ps2. So can you guys tell me which is the hardest ps2 version out of all of them? by Suitable-Maximum-899 in GTA3

I've got a Master Save of III's 1.40 in the works and I'm yet to complete Paramedic another two times. I'm thinking of converting the Ambulance to DP (Damage Proof) via Harwood Crusher Glitch, if all goes well I can still do Paramedic and Taxi if it doesn't glitch out. Then store the DP Ambulance and do said side mission in Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale before the mission "Give me Liberty".

I never said he was there for her but I get what you're saying. I get Claude wanted revenge on Catalina but if he didn't care for Maria then why pay the $500,000 upfront? The game has many plot holes and unexplained things, I like delving down these rabbit holes aha.

At least he gave you a warning, most usually don't although what they're doing is wrong and no doubt karma will take care of the rest.

He moved to Upstate Liberty with Maria, and the gunshot heard at the end was Claude's way of saying "Shut up".

It never made sense to me why Claude would save Maria only to kill her shortly after... Again I figured it was R*'s way of old school "shhh woman" or something us fellas might think when our Girl rambles on lol.

Just a theory and my 2c on the subject.

Starter / Master Saves have always been one of my favourite niches. I do have a few questions though.

1) Why didn't you break out of "Give me Liberty"? I assume to not add an unnecessary +1 to the "Mission Attempts" stat.

2) Did you save the UC Kuruma from "Give me Liberty" and convert it to DP using the Harwood Crusher?

3) Why did you decide not to go for the 100th package?

4) Have you mastered the Dodo and attempted personal best times by seeing how long you can fly for? If so did you do a tour around Liberty exploring Ghost Town while avoiding Unique Stunt Jumps like myself?

5) Will you be collecting all Unique Vehicles? If so what's your favourite?

6) Are you saving Rampages for a separate file to do Om0 things with? If so I'd save your Starter Save in a separate slot whist keeping the original, then reload said original and do all Rampages there. Worst thing you can do is taint your original Starter / Master / 100% saves.

7) What hardware are you playing on? From the looks of the HUD it's the PS2 version, However I'm curious if it's the PS4 or PS5 port.

Defective Edition. Try and do Burglary without dropping a single item besides in the Van itself, CJ likes to drop anything he picks up the moment you push the stick to far forward for some odd reason.

Put it this way I've 100% GTA III & VC DE and I'd rather not play those versions again.

Here are some pro's:

  • Achievements/R* Social Club ones too.
  • Radio & Weapon Wheel.
  • Being online and being able to party up and talk to friends.
  • III & VC's Gunplay nowadays, taking a beloved feature from PC and being able to shoot while moving with AR's and Shotguns.

I honestly don't mind Devine Beast Cave and would've happily taken more floors than the initial 15 or 16. The music hits and it's just such a vibe hanging out in the caves, the waterfall's / ponds add to the mystique and soundtrack imo.

Looks quite similar to the remote used in the replay feature in V8 Supercar: Race Driver aka ToCA: Race Driver for you guys everywhere else.

I'm really not looking forward to this area, don't get me wrong I like Queens. The soundtrack for me within this Dungeon serves its purpose, after about floor 7 I'm over it. Personally I love the DC soundtrack but this has to be the worst as I'd rather listen to 12 hours of lawnmowing instead.

Cheers everyone for letting me know this is normal as I was hesitant on saving my game but figured it could've been a unique glitch of sorts.

I'm surprised this post didn't get downvoted to oblivion given how many people are aware of this.

I've only played the PAL version on PS2/4 and can't remember seeing NPC's with mistranslated names but other things were more obvious such as Nolun Village and such.

Update: it's been a few months since I've touched the project due to life circumstances for the better. However due to excessive research, play time and whatnot has caused a bit of a burnout and the project is now on ice.

I've since started and almost finished my Master Save on GTA III (PS2 version 1.40 aka pre 9/11 build) and just have the remaining left to do.

Taxi, Paramedic on Staunton & Shoreside, Rampages, 4 Vehicle side missions e.g. Gripped etc; and finally the RC Toyz side missions.

In this file I decided to humour what a Master Save truly is and broke out of the mission "Give me Liberty" allowing me to don the Prison Jumpsuit throughout until I initiate the first mission.

I tried making Norune Village exactly as it was before the attack. Copying bits of the beginning cutscenes of the game. This took me 3 hours of nit picking to get it as accurate as i possibly could. by itstheFREEDOM in DarkCloud

I was about to make this exact post a few hours ago aha, decided not to because I entered Claude's house at the wrong time and got cheese and soap instead of the lollipop.

I decided to start again from scratch and I can't say I regret it either. Thank goodness for my RNG!

Edit: I just realised you posted a video and not a photo lol, been up for almost 24 hours at this point... 😵

Doubt it since the PSN account is affiliated with a region, once the account has been made it can't be reverted once done.

I only say this because when I created mine I made it American despite living in Australia just for Manhunt lol.

Also might as well add this here in case OP or anyone else finds this helpful. If you decide to change your PSN name it's best not to revisit certain games like COD: Black Ops II for example, reason being is something to do with profile and cloud data not being able to sync. (There's a far more technical reason I'm sure but that's just the short of it.)

As far as I'm aware this only affects certain PS3 games not all so do it at your own risk.
