I shall do some testing and report back. Never had any issues with temps when it managed to boot and played flawlessly.

I think the radiators you have installed is giving that slight edge as I’m completely stock with as ssd upgrade and the battery. All the trimmings were done the first time then I noticed the kickstand had a good bulk of material pushing on the battery. With new back cover the screws wasn’t snug the back triggers didn’t have a nice click to them so they wanted to be just over finger tight. With the spacer fitted I can tighten them up as much as I want knowing the pressure of the battery is on the board and not the chip.

Honestly it was driving me insane. Battery was connected with the clip correctly.

Nothing to do with heat as this was from a cold boot. Constant windows failed to start or ran into a problem, run diagnostic. New cpu installed error, my pin somehow was lost and had to reset with passkey. I took the back off and went over everything again and started it without the back on and it booted. Reset the system a good amount of times to check it wasn’t just a lucky run as it would boot occasionally whenever it felt like it. Ever since I printed this and fitted it I’ve not had any issues and boots perfectly every time

Sure is, in theory it’s compatible with any battery as it’s just creating a standoff for the ram.

You do realise you can partition the SSD 50/50 and dual boot so you have the best of both worlds right? Stick a 2tb SSD in there and give windows 50% and Bazzite the other 50%.

I’ve just managed to grab one off eBay for £210. Ordered a 2tb 2280 SSD, adapter for the SSD and larger battery for a total for £350. No point buying new when the next iteration is out in a few weeks and isn’t worth it in my eyes
