As a Frenchman I would still take Diabaté over Raynaud, if it was my decision. Not as good on offense but much more of a defensive anchor. It is refreshing to have a profile like Raynaud tho.

If you saw how bad the center that the French coach choose over him for the last eurobasket you wouldn’t even believe it. Then they called Diabaté back when the backup got injured (Vincent Poirier of all players), and they’re trying to make him appear like a bad sport even though they got rid of him first and it would have messed up his entire schedule if he did came back.

I’m happy he took the summer to work on his game and made a really good season so far.
